A friend and I are working on an iPhone App as a school project, it's pretty hard for us because we don't have any programming experience but hopefully we'll be able to come up with a simple App in the end. We used some sample code from various sites and were really excited when we were able to create something and see it run in the simulator.

Who will pay you if the software you develop is free? The next thing you will know is that because your salary is too high compared to the cost of the software, your job will go to China or India.

If you have any involvement in the cell phone developer industry, you would have understood that what Apple have done is shake up the WHOLE mobile apps market.

Q./ As a mobile phone developer, do you design a program that runs perfectly on 1 optimised set of hardware, or develop a program that needs to take into account all sorts of different hardware specs ?
