- rooskie, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this points to the Beta Download ending in July.
- FetalSage, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8It's been out for a while now actually.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I predict we see a rapid increase in development of crappy widgets.
- jmah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Beta expires on July 15, 2007.

Nope, read the actual site:
"This beta release will cease to function on July 15, 2007." Meaning the application will stop functioning on July 15th, 2007. - lemmingscanfly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Yeah I gave it a try a few weeks ago :)
Its improved over the version included with Intel Macs. - skidogallard, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Dashcode is sweet and so easy to use! I just made myself a custom countdown widget for my Xbox Live renewal date.
Here's a link to a screen grab I took of my widget.

No, it was actually released Dec 21st. http://digg.com/apple/Dashcode_Beta_Released - adc89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Leopard will be out in the spring. At least that's what they said at WWDC...
- etandrib, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I agree but this might spawn at least one more widget that I actually will use. So it is worth it. I hope.
- DelMonte, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@Brutal:
Yeah, the one linked here is the Dec 20th build. The "other" version I'm talking about was leaked before that on MacBook install CDs, before the Leopard Preview was even released. I was just pointing out that it wasn't officially included with all intel Mac like lemmingscanfly seemed to imply. I don't see why I'm getting dugg down.
I fairly know that Dashcode is included in Leopard builds, Jobs announced it at WWDC. But having access to Leopard (legally) requires money and signing an NDA. The Dec 20th Dashcode build is the first one that's officially available for free to everyone. - panique, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Or maybe that's what they want you to think...
- MacHarborGuy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2then again, you could make at least one more widget that you would use.
this will actually be kinda fun. make a widget that parses your favorite RSS feed, then make a widget that is easy on your eyes. Combine it with Amnesty Singles to turn the widget into a stand alone app, and your set. - Applemacmad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It is also included in a the Leopard builds.
I don't see why they would need to scale it back, the Leopard version works fine in Tiger, and it doesn't expire - sjones411, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I agree, a lot of speculation pointed towards July and this probably is a very good sign of that.
- AxeMAYHEM, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Does this article point towards a possible release date for Leopard?
- rasterbator, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I downloaded this back in May of 2006. Old news, other than the fact that it will not be available after July. Which probably means it will be factory installed in the Application folder for free after that date.
- anarchy99, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1i dont mean to be rude but brutal you said "@DelMonte:

no thats when it was posted on digg the download at apple clearly shows it was posted on the 20th - DelMonte, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3@lemmingscanfly:
I think that the "other" version was only found in the MacBook install CD, and it was hidden, not officially included.

What is Digg?
