- Ayavaron, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6It's not a dupe. It's a different article about the same subject. This contains more text and less screenshots.
- MrDiaz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7same story on the front page?
- DiamondIce, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3They can charge what ever they want for it, as long as it stays open source.
Technicaly a person could download Ubutnu (Just for example. It works with any open source software), modify one core file to add/change its functionality, then charge a million pesos for it, and it would be perfectly legal as long as they let the next person do the same. - trunkster, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5So they are charging for what was originally a open source program that they modified? Is this even legit?
- perre, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4That's excellent. Sounded like if it wasn't delivered by a third party developer like CodeWeavers, Apple was planning on providing it with OS X.5. I hope this solution is elegant.
- bigandy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This will NOT mean viruses can run on Macs.
This is NOT a duplicate article. - delinka, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3@pseudojd
What gregmo is trying to say is that yes, PC men can work on Macs.
Or did I miss the point? - pseudojd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2whatever it's called, will a malicious exe bake a mac now?
- Logan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Technically, someone could download anything under the GPL, and sell it for whatever they wanted, without permission, even without editing anything.
- scootinger, on 10/12/2007, -7/+6How does a story get on the front page TWICE?
