Yes, the copy paste feature is old. The iPhone OS is very unique in that it has no physical keyboard and no right click option. A feature like copy paste would be extremely hard to implement on a device like this. It makes sense that it has taken them a long time to do it. If it was a computer without copy paste, then your sarcastic comments would be completely warranted. Copy and paste is a software issue, not a hardware issue. They didn't have to give the 2.0 software update to the original iPhone users, they could've made it exclusive to the 3G and never even said anything about it until the 3G was released. But they let you have it for free.

Especially since you could just email the picture at no additional cost to your data plan. I guess that makes sense.
