- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -4/+165I don't see why they're clamoring to that Scientology booth, obviously no brains to be found there
- TravisG5, on 10/11/2007, -4/+101Doing this in Boston would be a bad idea.
- guytoronto, on 10/11/2007, -0/+89You know, it's all fun and games, until a real zombie outbreak occurs, then everyone is like "Oh, look, it's those fun people playing zombies again, take a picture of me with one. OMG! AAAHHHH!!!"
- GawtMilk, on 10/11/2007, -10/+94Yea, at first I thought it would be a video game promotion, but then I was like...
..."why would they invade an APPLE Store?" - zip000, on 10/11/2007, -3/+81I must have blocked m1tch37 at an earlier date - he must have been a real ass, because I never bother to block anyone!
- TehSwat, on 10/11/2007, -9/+86I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THESE MOTHER ***** ZOMBIES IN THIS MOTHER ***** STORE.
*cough* - Murdats, on 10/11/2007, -1/+62yeah, all the cops would grab their shotguns to stop the zombie uprising
- BZKyle, on 10/11/2007, -15/+69@m1tch37
Fascinating.
I use Windows, Linux, and OS X...
Guess what? They all work, they all have their pluses and minuses. - Cobainy, on 10/11/2007, -16/+60@m1tch37
I'm not even going to try to understand that, and I'll just press the 'block' button. - ParisSeth, on 10/11/2007, -3/+44video of the event here:
http://www.9to5mac.com/zombies-at-sf-applestore - themulf, on 10/11/2007, -5/+44I cant wait to take a trip to SF, it seems to be one of the few places where people cool down and just have stupid fun.
- admadan, on 10/11/2007, -1/+40I think I would fall under that category. I have read the Zombie Survival Guide one too many times.
- lukee, on 10/11/2007, -1/+32Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "Genius Bar".
- CarIos, on 10/11/2007, -1/+31Imagine if someone thought they were real and shot them!
- kiantech, on 10/11/2007, -9/+37The title should read Zombies invade San Francisco Mall, but I guess Apple in the title gets you more digs.
- Destos, on 10/11/2007, -7/+34I especially like this photograph of the zombies invading a Scientology stand.
http://www.mccullagh.org/photo/1ds-17/zombies-scientology-dianetics - chicken101, on 10/11/2007, -1/+26One day zombies are actually gonna attack. And at first everyone's gonna be like "oh that's cute, people dressing up as zombies". But it will be real, and we won't be able to contain the zombies because we wasted time.
- rebrad, on 10/11/2007, -1/+26And someone is going to tell us how this was different than any other Friday?

Something tells me the zombies have more sex than you... - CapeKid, on 10/11/2007, -3/+22@parisseth
Most of those people need to work on their zombie amble.
Should have watched Shaun of the Dead a few times before attempting. - BorisT, on 10/11/2007, -2/+19Wait... I can't/don't see m1tch37, what did he say?
- MacParrot, on 10/11/2007, -1/+15I think you should be able to shoot people who have no obvious sense of humor and wouldn't know harmless fun if it bit them on their brainsssss. Know anyone like that Pete?
- Seifey, on 10/11/2007, -1/+15Reading the title, I thought it was an uprising after the myspace ban.
- Snyder, on 10/11/2007, -2/+15LOL!! XD
What do we want?
Braaiiins!
When do we want them?
Braaiiins!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yz5psmuiCK0&NR=1 - dfltr, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13@ronmexico: don't worry. you may be getting dugg down, but i got the pun. i can't be the only person who caught that.
- theblooms, on 10/11/2007, -4/+16@ m1tch37
I am pretty sure you just got banned.
'Invalid User Provided' - xedd, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11laxkid found a penny once...
- ravage386, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10This is what happens when the line between Internet and Reality begin to blur.
- tektalk, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8ughh... spare change?!
- dustinhoffman, on 10/11/2007, -3/+11Thank God us "Redneck" Midwesterners keep our shotguns with us at all times...
- badjoke, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9Use your head, cut off theirs.
- Optimaximal, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10Says the dweebs posting about it on digg...
- coloneltcb, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9this is a stand-alone store on Stockton street, not part of a mall.
- G5Unit91, on 10/11/2007, -17/+24Imz in ur store, gnawin all all ur macs.
- kabewm, on 10/11/2007, -7/+13And with Imus, The Dog House & O&A getting in trouble for hurting peoples feelings now you know why us West Coast people think you East Coast people are a bunch of pussies. . .
- CatCubed, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8@kiantech No actually the title is right. We (I was there) did invade the apple store. We tried roaming the nearby mall too but they kicked us out pretty fast.
Actually of all the stores along Market Street that we tried invading the Apple store's staff were the only ones cool enough to laugh at it and let us roam around (even with us leaving bloody hand prints on their glass stairs). I think they knew that must of us Zombies were creative-types -- i.e., probably future if not current customers. - Squill, on 10/11/2007, -12/+18Wow, and now you know why us East Coasters think the West Coast is nothing but a bunch of loonies.
- dfltr, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6i was riding up near the front of Critical Mass yesterday when we hit the zombie mob. seeing a dude on a fixed-gear get chased by a zombie on Market St. is pretty much exactly how i'd describe San Francisco to people who have never been here.
- RoflMyWaffle, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7lol i was part of this, i was the brain-eating zombie :P
- randomgeek, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8I think it's pretty stupid how every time someone does something that is fun and maybe a little bit nerdy too, all the sudden the sex comments come out. "I bet you'll never have sex!" If you were getting so much sex yourself, you wouldn't be posting on Digg there, Don Juan. As if sex was the ultimate reason to be alive anyway. While you laugh and high five your friends about all the sex you're not getting, the rest of us will enjoy our lives and actually go do things that make us happy. Enjoy your hunt for poon, while I actually have a life that that is fulfilling and fun.
- Optimaximal, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Some people just come up with the best anecdotes!
- CatCubed, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7@inkswamp - Actually I find bringing impressionable young children into a Disney store in the first place a problem.
- Gir53457, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5*Undead Horde*
- Gir53457, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5You know how in Resident Evil the T-Virus was developed as a weapon to be unleashed upon the enemy so they'd destroy themselves?
- 35263526, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I'm actually getting kind of bored with San. Fran. zombie hordes. It's cool and all, but it seems like they're doing them on a weekly basis. A city can only take so many zombie apocalypses, afterall.
- powerbook86, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I hope the employees washed off some of the computers before selling them. I don't think selling an iMac with someone's saliva on it is a good selling point. :/ :P I mean gnawing on the computer is a bit much.
- MacParrot, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Well three kinds if you count the idiots posting Apple FUD... OH! Sorry, didn't see you there gaffy
