- AdenFraser, on 07/19/2008, -9/+4Great, so bands can use their iphone to create audio.. but we cant video bands live?
- bwhite4815, on 07/20/2008, -3/+5Next Beck Album is going to only use the iPhone.
- frigginchris, on 07/20/2008, -0/+1one more thing that makes me impatient to get my iphone. i wish the at&t and apple stores would have them in stock anywhere near me :-(
- arkanebeats, on 07/20/2008, -0/+3Small recording studio? Digital Audio Workstation? Blasphemy!
- halosniper7, on 07/21/2008, -0/+22i bought it.
not worth $10.- DigDugDigger, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3It was better on the jailbroken iPhones because there were more instruments available. With only a few instruments, it does get boring pretty quick.
- InfernoBob, on 07/21/2008, -1/+16I had fun with it months ago when it was on Installer for FREE.
- bigsteve, on 07/21/2008, -1/+6Don't hate, congratulate.
- Amadeus2490, on 07/21/2008, -1/+2Sex can wait; masturbate.
- bigsteve, on 07/21/2008, -1/+6Don't hate, congratulate.
- bensashi, on 07/21/2008, -0/+18Get Beat Maker. Much better.
- chuckee8887, on 07/21/2008, -0/+10Especially now with Beatpack released, allowing users to save/export their kits, projects, and songs onto a computer wirelessly. It's pretty badass.
- ryleyleckie, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3its good times
- lordtyros, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3That's the only app I've bought. $20 and I actually don't regret it.
- iCareMuch, on 07/21/2008, -4/+2just jailbreak and get it for free!
- wonderchemist, on 07/21/2008, -2/+5I agree, screw small independent software companies!
- zeeky, on 07/21/2008, -1/+2um. mark terry the guy who created Band is the one who put it up on installer. also, he's not a company, just a guy. and he's awesome too.
- wonderchemist, on 07/21/2008, -2/+5I agree, screw small independent software companies!
- ButlerMonkey, on 07/21/2008, -4/+5I didn't buy it, got it from Installer and have had it on my iPod Touch running 1.1.3 firmware for about 4 months or so.
I really see now reason to go with the 2.0 firmware, to get the App store and pay for apps that I can still get for free now with Installer.- ButlerMonkey, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3I'm not sure why people are giving negative diggs to people mentioning getting this app from Installer - it's not as if people are stealing the app - it was released on Installer first months ago.
- Diggnabbit, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3People are just sick of that being the standard response to every iPhone App story.
We get it, already: you have a hacked iPhone.

- DMBmelch, on 07/21/2008, -3/+10Is that a band in your pocket? or are you just happy to see me?
- dalnet22, on 07/21/2008, -1/+1You get what you pay for.
- mentor972, on 07/21/2008, -5/+3Really, this is front page news? Everyone already knows about it.
- waxdart, on 07/21/2008, -0/+5you != everybody
- holyreality, on 07/21/2008, -2/+1definitely a solid app, good for getting down quick ideas when there's no computer around.
- Owwmykneecap, on 07/21/2008, -2/+2stylophone beats iphone

http://current.com/items/89051352_i_love_stylophon ... - ZephyrNinety, on 07/21/2008, -4/+1The iPhone really should be be renamed the iMedia or something of that nature. It's not a phone, it's a gadget.
- reformation, on 07/21/2008, -1/+1You must be so proud!
- krnldmp, on 07/21/2008, -4/+1Check this out. If you think there is anything similar to an ecosystem going on in your iPhone You Are ***** and reality is going to eventually hit you hard.
- kitsua, on 07/21/2008, -0/+6It has a gorgeous look, but there are painfully few instruments and little option to do anything beyond impress people briefly.
But c'mon, "some pretty impressive DAW functionality" ?! You have got to be kidding, right?
"handy for jotting down some musical ideas on the road" - wow, apparently not.
Not to mention that it's now crashing every time I try to open it - though to be fair this is happening across the board with OS 2.0
Beatmaker is a far more serious and impressive app. - ryleyleckie, on 07/21/2008, -0/+7beatmaker > band
- negrox, on 07/21/2008, -1/+5This is an ad disguised as news.
- benologist, on 07/21/2008, -0/+0I have to disagree. There's no disguise.
- myhandleondigg, on 07/21/2008, -0/+2"Unfortunately, the feature lacking from this application is actually a rather large problem: the ability to export your creations."
So, in other words, it is completely useless? - ericdano, on 07/21/2008, -1/+1It is a lame program, even on Jailbroken iPhones/iPod Touches. Buried.
- nynexla, on 07/21/2008, -0/+0wheres logic mobile?
- 04TL, on 07/21/2008, -1/+0sweet...all we need is 5 million+ wannabe DJ's running around recording crap on their iphone...
- meshman, on 07/21/2008, -0/+2I don't think they know what a recording studio is.
