Apple shows Firefox on MobileMe page

neowin.net — Firefox has made an appearance on Apple.com, after Apple last year vowed to essentially wipe it off the map. Has Apple given up on the Windows version of the browser?

  • joshabryant, on 06/09/2008, -3/+0Buried. This is stupid. Apple is officially supporting Firefox 2, IE7 and Safari 3 and higher for MobileMe.

    This ad is simply displaying that information in a graphic. It would have helped to post a screenshot of the entire picture, not just a clip. Next to that iPhone is also a Mac running Safari.

    The point of the graphic is to convey that MobileMe is not just a Mac solution but rather a solution that will work on any platform & environment including Mac, PC, Web, iPhone, etc...
