- Pliep, on 10/11/2007, -3/+112The news is this: "Munster added that he "expects" new MacBook Pros (1, 2) to make a showing at the developer conference and that it's "also possible" that Apple will introduce a redesigned iMac".
The headline is this "Apple seen unloading new MacBook Pros and (possibly) iMacs at WWDC".
Does anyone read from this title that someone has actually seen them literally unload something from a truck? Well I did, and I think it's a sensationalist title that basically is a lie. - pevensen, on 10/11/2007, -1/+44I read it the same was--that someone saw Apple physically unloading boxes.
- theprez, on 10/11/2007, -0/+33Does it really take an analyst to know that iMacs and MacBook Pros are overdue?
Anyway the story is inaccurate. Never talks about anyone actually seeing new MBPs beeing taken to WWDC. - wageslaven, on 10/11/2007, -3/+26You dream about wanting coloured apple computers?
- Longmover, on 10/11/2007, -9/+29Pleeease a new iMac. 24" with a new design & *much* better graphics card....
- diggerhater, on 10/11/2007, -1/+19Sensationalist titles on digg? Nooooo.... I thought that was reserved for Fox News and CNN.

- schnuck, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13a new macbook pro with a redesigned enclosure, thinner, lighter, brighter screen, bigger hard-drive, longer battery life, superfast graphics-card and santa rosa. if yes, i will be the first in the queue having my credit card between my teeth while dancing naked.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12yeah wtf, i thought someone meant that they saw real people moving the new macbook pros into WWDC
- mfus15, on 10/11/2007, -3/+15Black iMac?
- silverj, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12It didn't happen anyway
- willgonz, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13I was once a die hard Windows Fanboy. I remember drooling over Windows 95 back when I was Running WFWG 3.11. Then Apple switched to Intel. Then I got a not so legal version of OS X. I installed it on a non Apple system. I feel in love. I now own a Mac Mini and a MacBook Pro.
I am now drooling over Leopard, iPhone and the new macs to be announced.
I am a fanboy, this is my story. - maledin, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12Don't all companies update their products?
- TheIconoclast31, on 10/11/2007, -3/+13Breaking: Steve Jobs has dreams that Apple potentially will have talks with computer manufacturers to discuss the concept of scheduling a lunch meeting with senior executives regarding the possibility of gaining consumer input on whether Apple should release...
NEW MACBOOK PROS during the WWDC ! - kfsutops, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11Buried as inaccurate. It's doesn't say Apple was seen unloading them. It says they are expected.
- KSUdesigner, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9There is a company that makes colored Apple products, but personally I don't think a paint job is worth the extra $650+ that they're charging.
http://www.colorwarepc.com/products/select_MacBookPro.aspx - SVPirate, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8In other news... Apple are seen unloading new tables and chairs at WWDC...
- OneManArmy, on 10/11/2007, -6/+13Wallstreet are pretty credible when it comes to rumors around Apple products. but I agree, from the title, I was expecting to see some spy photos of new macbook pro packages.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7in before "aww man and i JUST bought a new macbook pro yesterday!"
- jjk5, on 10/11/2007, -4/+10MacBook Pros are marketed towards just that, Professionals. If Macs were released in colors it'd be the consumer models like the regular MacBooks or the iMac.
- 83457, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8Pleeease a new 17" MBP with a *much* better graphics card...
- championchap, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6@adamkhel (#6838728)
haha, yeah seriously.
I'm looking to buy myself a MacBook.. wanted a Pro but i dont think i could afford to splash that much even with a job.
It'll be my first Mac though!
Had a go on my girlfriends MAcBook yesterday, bretty much fell in love with it. Summer job here I come! - Elranzer, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5In other news: Sony discusses early plans for PlayStation 4 and the future of PSP.
Digg headline to above: "Sony seen unloading new PlayStation 4 and (possibly) a redesigned PSP." - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7Or maybe they actually counted the days since the update?
- crazybrit, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5I want a goddamn C2D mini already! And better graphics would be nice, but it's not going to happen.
- sam10685, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7@pevensen; They had to be physically unloading boxes. I've never heard of someone mentally unloading them.
- ThreeDee912, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6here goes:
pics or it didn't happen - haxored, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Protip: When something pairs well with something else, the correct term is complement. Compliment is a noun. Complement is a verb.
- ajchavar, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3personally i dont find anything wrong with taking pride in what you own and promoting a company that has treated you properly, that being said, there are some people who give apple fans a bad name by being obnoxious and essentially dicks.
whatever man, OS doesn't matter, everyone should just chill and pick the OS that they like and keep (mostly) quite about it. - Trat, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Do you really think Apple will release a 12" MacBook? They already have a 13" out there... A MacBook sized MBP is more likely than a 12" MacBook.
- ajchavar, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3did i just read those two comments, or am i drunk. . .
wait its both.
seriously. - superkendall, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I would almost argue more strongly that Apple would first add multi-touch to the more consumer oriented lines (Macbook, iMac) and then migrate it to pro devices once they had it working well and the extra weight was shrunk down a bit.
I do expect to see LED backlit screens in the higher end Macbook Pro though... - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5obviously you do, since you took the time to post a comment here -_-
- timusca, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2@adamkhel
I have a job... and probably one that pays better than yours. Its the wife, kids, and house that are getting to me. - Artagra, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Uhh, why wouldn't they? The last generation of Powerbooks had 17" 1920x1200 displays....
Artag - everfresh59, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4I think your basically going to see the new Santa Rosa chip in the new MBP, along with LED Displays and 1920 resolution for HD editing on the go.
I initially wanted to wait for this new one, but got too anxious..... But I love my MBP - KSUdesigner, on 10/11/2007, -8/+10Welcome to the world of Apple products. You'll find yourself saying that just about every time you purchase one of their products.
- jdong, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Protip corollary #1: Look at a dictionary before nitpicking someone else's grammar...
Protip corollary #2: The chances of saying something stupid increases exponentially with the length of the statement. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3It sure does if there are moonbows involved! I'm also Steve Jobs. Please rub my muffins.
- Seph7, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Does anyone else instantly dismiss "news" articles with the word "analyst" in or am I the only one?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3The title is inaccurate! From this title one can only surmise that Apple is trying to "unload" (ie, get rid of) their remaining stock of laptops as they are getting out of the hardware business (which they never made money at) and will be solely a software maker. They will soon be a Dell re-seller shipping AppleOS XP. As for the iPod franchise, that will be spun off into a separate company which will license the iPod OS for use in other players.
Yet, the article says not a WORD about any of this, even though it's quite clear that this is what the title implied. I feel lied to. Thanks for nothing "AppleInsider.com" if that is your real name... - crazybrit, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Compliment can be a verb.
- okto, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1This time we have REAL EYEWITNESS SPECULATION proving what Apple will do next.
- cywei99, on 02/12/2008, -0/+1Yea! Can't wait for the new iMac!

http://www.myselfhypnosis.net/ - gsnedders, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Seeming everyone is digging me down, presumably because it's been claimed I'm wrong: http://support.apple.com/specs/powerbook/PowerBook_G4_17-inch_Double-Layer_SD.html
If you really want to argue with Apple's own documentation, go ahead. - timusca, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I have a Mac.... just not a new one. Or, for that matter, a good one when it was new. eMac is the name, slow-as-***** is the game.
- smitting, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Start charging yourself cash for lost opportunity costs when you're trying to figure out what the hell windows is doing, and you might find Macs to be cheaper.
- fr34k5h0w, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Someone's dream list just got publicized...
