Посмотрите на автомобили, скажем даже европейские и японские авто стоят в Штатах в 3-4 раза дешевле, электроника вся дешевле раза в 2 как минимум. Что здесь Эппл может поделать, когда проблема общегосударственная? Я думаю вы все прекрасно понимаете, что “договориться” с таможней могут только серые поставщики и никаких путей для понижения стоимости здесь нет. И нет, я не работаю на Apple, просто немного разбираюсь в этом вопросе.

Make lawyers forbid them to sell iPod Touch and MacBook Air in Russia.

- bearmf, on 01/25/2008, -0/+4Actually, if Apple continues this practice of ignoring consumers' interests, it will result in a growing illegal import of Apple products from USA. This "black market" is already quite developed, as the prices are as much as 50-70% lower. If there is no iTMS, no proper support, even no localization, theres absolutely no point in buying Apple products through authorized resellers in Russia. The 50% price difference certainly outweighs the benefit of the stores, say, in Moscow, being easily reachable.
Though no one was really angry about the prices, everybody got angry when they realized that Apple doesn't give a ***** about its Russian customers. - ilgaz, on 01/25/2008, -0/+3Not different here, in Istanbul. Even worse. They are also partnered with a huge, gigantic holding (Koc, Ram holding, Russians must know) without any money problems. Prices translated to Euro directly, products never arrive on time. Sad thing is Adobe picked up same distributor too and sales are completely down. They do nothing rather than threatening professionals/home users with BSA stick. As home user, I was presented with $138+CD (yes, no kidding!) when I tried to buy Photoshop Elements , the old version by some shop.
If Apple wants to break its borders, they should review every single distributor on every single country, ask users to anonymously fill some forms about their experience with Apple. Those are things which should be fixed since the first ever iPod shipped. Now they start up in Russia with exact same mistakes.
Apple is a successful company in USA and some other markets but it is the same exact pre-Steve Jobs, iMac apple of 1994 in other places. - Olepir, on 01/25/2008, -0/+3Lenovo, Dell, Acer, Asus мимо таможни проходят? Цены на них в России как в ЕС, а на Apple гораздо дороже и это при том, что сервис у Apple никакой -- люди по 2 месяца запчасти и ремонта ждут

А что на счет отсутствия русских букавак на клавиатуре официально продаваемого в России MacBook Air и "хотите прошивку 1.1.3 на iPod Touch - купите новый"? Тоже российская таможня постаралось? Так что не надо про "это не Эппл виноват"! Кто еще тут может быть виноват в скотском отношении к потребителю на не самом кстати маленьком рынке с не самыми маленькими возможностями роста?!

- temka, on 01/25/2008, -0/+1дело в отпускной цене от проиводителя дилерам (нверное). Видимо, дилерская цена мало чем отличается от розничной американской. Отсюда и рост цен для НЕ-штатов. А наши дилеры берут вообще в европе - то есть уже накрученную стоимость накручиваю еще раз для себя. Похоже, что покупая Мак в России, мы платим: американская цена для дилеров европы + доставка-таможня в европе + доставка-таможня в россии + инетерес наших дилеров. Отсюда и так дорого. Но это просто моя догадка, а не истина в последней инстанции.

Грузовики Скания в России так вообще дешевле чем в Германии или Италии.
Посмотрите лучше цены на Гольф, или Мазду какую нибудь.. На массовые авто..

You have to pay $$$ by hand to the Apple distributor, they sell you an activation code which $30 magically translates to 40 Euros (or more) and you end up with 40 Euro Quicktime Pro which you eventually hit USA support if you have problem.
Wonder why Apple is still considered a joke in business, high end multimedia (video editing) markets abroad? That is the reason. Even EVIL MS sells XP/Vista cheaper here in Istanbul, for OS X, you cough 140 Euros and VAT translating to 170-180 dollars. - kabanchik, on 01/27/2008, -0/+1я бы и так не стал покупать в России. Максимальная пошлина порядка 25%, если у товара нет аналога производимого в России то пошлина сильно ниже. Обычно все компьютерное растомаживается под 10-15%. Акцизов на подобную технику, на сколько я знаю, нет. При все при этом дистрибъютер который ввозит товар в РФ (imc?) покупает продукцию у производителя далеко не по розничной цене, а имеет скидку ну никак не менее 15-20%
Собственно откуда такие цены - не понятно.
