- Janinco, on 06/28/2009, -3/+41Oh no,rioting at the genius bar!
- inactive, on 06/29/2009, -6/+37THEY SHOULD MAKE MORE OF THEM PROBABLY.
- LoneWolf01, on 06/29/2009, -0/+24It's been the 29th for more than 12 hours in Australia.
- SinisterSaracen, on 06/29/2009, -13/+35WELL IF BILLY MAYS WAS MARKETING THE IPHONE IT WOULD HAVE SOLD OUT EVEN SOONER
- Brak710101, on 06/29/2009, -2/+18It appears 32GB + white just is bad combination.
- macslut, on 06/28/2009, -1/+16And it's only $299 for the 32GB 3GS if you bought the 3G when it first came out, and are considered one of their best customers (with a higher minute plan), or are willing to call and speak to a customer retention representative.
Of course this price minus the selling price of your old iPhone 3G makes it a pretty good deal to upgrade. - TexMexRex, on 06/29/2009, -0/+14english bad yours
- Angelinakinsler, on 06/28/2009, -6/+20yes , is so genius bar.....
- Khast, on 06/29/2009, -2/+15I am going to be up front and frank. No, I am not an Apple fanboy. In fact, the iPhone was the LAST choice of phone on my mind. My friend actually convinced me because the phone has a higher resell value than what I would be nailed, if I were to end the contract prematurely. (Gotta love Canada)
Long story short... I am absolutely loving the iPhone 3GS. (Not enough to go out and get the next generation, unless they really make some serious upgrades to the hardware....) Anyways, I can see why it is so popular, and this is coming from someone who is normally so anti-Apple. - dawheelo, on 06/29/2009, -0/+10How is the Palm Pre selling? Are there any solid numbers out there? Just wanted to see how the iPhone killer was doing.
- xGrill, on 06/28/2009, -1/+11It is only 400 if you sign a new 2 year contract
- NathanCH, on 06/29/2009, -3/+11Anyone who wants to buy the best phone on the market is an Apple fanboy?
- ReDoEr, on 06/29/2009, -0/+8now al yoo need is sum knowlej of teh langwej.
- MacParrot, on 06/29/2009, -0/+8Well you should get one of those then.
- wilhoitm, on 06/29/2009, -1/+8If they are out of stock that means that they sold over 2 million phones since 3G (s) launch, and that might be a conservative estimate!
- inactive, on 06/29/2009, -1/+8Mention Apple on Digg, and some closet fag mentions gay sex before you do. Always.
- nekaidesigns, on 06/29/2009, -1/+8Wyodiver, Your insightful analysis is well-constructed and intelligently laid out. I will strongly consider your position.
- DJRobX, on 06/29/2009, -1/+7Meanwhile, 16GB + white appears to be a hot item in CA. Very little stock anywhere. The stock for the other combinations is all over the place.
I don't much care about the color of the backing. You can't really see it when it's in a protective case anyway. I liked the original iPhone's aluminum backing best. - eadnams, on 06/29/2009, -0/+6Have you *used* a pre? Apple didn't have to rush anything.
- ehaugan, on 06/29/2009, -0/+6Wow! Im impressed! I just went and picked up a Nokia too!
EDIT - CRAP! WHY DID YOU SUGGEST THIS THING!
No App store
No Video renting/buying
No music store
No Video editor
No Music player equal to iPod
No push email
No cloud syncing
No full screen touch screen
just to name a few! - beachtrader, on 06/29/2009, -0/+6They sold around 100k.
- Dantehman17, on 06/29/2009, -3/+9BUT WAIT, THERE'S LESS!
CALL NOW AND GET REJECTED. - TDDebug, on 06/29/2009, -2/+7YEAH ***** YOU *****
/BILLY MAYS - Azsen, on 06/29/2009, -0/+5Why isn't the 3GS in New Zealand yet?
- MacParrot, on 06/29/2009, -0/+5It was overdone while he was still alive
- inactive, on 06/29/2009, -2/+7Everything is conspiracy. If it's not, then you're in on said conspiracy.
- newman8r, on 06/28/2009, -3/+8mmmm, genius bar. chocolaty.
- MrDoug, on 06/29/2009, -0/+5...and an inability to spell and punctuate properly.
- MrDoug, on 06/29/2009, -1/+5Translation: If you live in Colorado or Hawaii, you've got one waiting for you anywhere you want to go.
- GeorgeStone2, on 06/29/2009, -0/+4Trying to get one in the UK. O2 wont tell me when they'll have them in. Only that they were meant to have arrived on saturday.
- phpchris, on 06/29/2009, -0/+4unpossible
- deadbaby, on 06/29/2009, -0/+4They're not selling any apps. They're all free at this point.
- t0ny, on 06/29/2009, -2/+6Dude. Grow up. Don't like Apple products? Then good news you don't have to buy them! Or at least you don't have to go into every single Apple related article and bitch about Apple!
- inactive, on 06/29/2009, -2/+6Kind sir, I was using the Billy Mays key to honor the late Billy Mays.
- terafunker, on 06/29/2009, -0/+4Showed up last week at an Apple store in Atlanta and found they were out of all iPhones, period.
Ordered online later that day but the website still lists the order as "not yet shipped" 5 days later.
I'm not sure what's going on, but Apple is definitely having a good year. - TrancePhreak, on 06/29/2009, -0/+4Those prices are crap compared with eBay.
- Darph.Bobo, on 06/29/2009, -2/+5Translation = I can't afford one because I have no marketable job skills, unless you consider bastardizing the English language a marketable job skill.
- superkendall, on 06/29/2009, -0/+3Well you have the second part down anyway.

- hardeep1singh, on 06/29/2009, -0/+3Or the marketing experts are at it again.
- daxxer, on 06/29/2009, -0/+3I doubt that.
- DaFunk, on 06/29/2009, -0/+3That's actually surprising. I ordered mine from AT&T on Thursday and it'll be here tomorrow, even though they're claiming it's at least 7-10 days before you'll get it. I'd have thought Apple stores would be at the top of the list for keeping the phone in stock.
- darkuk, on 06/29/2009, -0/+3If you're going to kiss ass about a nokia, do it for the N97, it's the only nokia for the general consumer that comes close to the iPhone
- truespin, on 06/29/2009, -0/+3http://www.apple.com/uk/retail/iphone/availability ...
- nekaidesigns, on 06/29/2009, -0/+3it was only $100 for me to upgrade to 32gb after selling my 3G for $400. I'd assume it would be more or less the same for anyone else.
- TexMexRex, on 06/29/2009, -2/+5HimThatIs Retarded.
- MacParrot, on 06/29/2009, -1/+4OR why not just finish out your contract and buy a new one then? I just bought my first iPhone because the older ones did not have enough storage for me. Did I want one? Sure. but not so badly that I was going to spend hundreds of dollars on something that didn't meet my requirements.
Restraint, learn it, know it, love it - Catch_ME, on 06/29/2009, -1/+4This is all sony's fault. Artificially cutting PS2s that are shipped in order to create a demand.
- DJRobX, on 06/29/2009, -0/+3Nah, it was about the same last year. Our AT&T store only got 36 phones. They didn't bother to tell anyone in the huge line until the doors opened. Lots of very angry people. The Apple Stores had significantly better stock.
