- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -7/+67This is why I never buy a first-gen Apple product.
I just let you guys pay to beta test them for me, lol. - DigitAl56K, on 10/10/2007, -5/+36Why does Apple need to confirm it for it to be true?
If it's happening to lots of people then it's true. - corporalclegg24, on 10/10/2007, -6/+36HELL YEA!
- gl77, on 03/31/2008, -8/+35seems that there are worms in the apple as of late........HAHA!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+23It's too bad that so many complete and total idiots are trying to to this into a "fanboy vs non-fanboy" issue. It's about technology, not your compulsive need to suck the dick of Steve Jobs. I bought my Touch two days ago, and it's simply unbelievable how bad the screen is. There's seriously less than 5% of viewable deflection angle. If you play anything much darker than a Naruto cartoon, the entire screen becomes pool of murky blackness.
- biliabong6, on 10/10/2007, -3/+17Oh, I think you forgot about the 1billion dollars that Microsoft invested to ensure their product for 3 years no questions asked...
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+16Hm, maybe I can get another $100 store credit???
Then I would sell it to buy an Xbox360 for halo3. - antdude, on 10/10/2007, -3/+15That's true for all products, not just Apple's.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+16ssshhhhhhhhh. Only apple is allowed to be the good guy. Anyone else who isn't in turtle neck is a evil monopoly and you are their shill.
- aadsfasdf, on 10/10/2007, -2/+14No, I don't think your ipod has the problem, naruto looks like ***** whatever it's viewed on.
- clink0914, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12I'm glad your bike was stolen.
- Rikushix, on 10/10/2007, -3/+13Busted.
- aadsfasdf, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Personal experience = what happens to everyone.
- gl77, on 03/31/2008, -1/+9quality control means that you are controlling the quality of the product that will be shipped to your customers. therefore, yes it should have been dealt with before they were shipped.
- LordSkywalker, on 10/10/2007, -7/+14So I guess we are just supposed to forgive them for not admitting it in the first place. Of course if it were Microsoft, well then that'd be a different story.
- Jangles, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9ugh, makes me feel uneasy about my pre-order.
- holygram, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Can I digg you down because of your username?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Would you idiots give the same slack to Sony or Microsoft?
- hellobastards, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8"you're" an idiot.
- scottauth, on 10/10/2007, -5/+11They should also fess up to how buggy the iPod Classic is. Each time you try to add, delete, or edit a song iTunes freezes for 5 minutes.
- ECas123, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7So when will it be safe to get in the Apple pool?
- runnin17, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6You are an idiot. For one, the Apple battery problem was a Sony battery problem, not just Apple. Yeah it sucks they didn't catch it, but neither did Dell or any other company that was using those specific Sony batteries. iBooks are frickin' old and I don't remember hearing about any problems with them. iPod Touch has been out for around two weeks and some are defective, Apple admitted it and will probably fix it.
AT&T is again, not an Apple problem and it seems like Jobs has been doing things in spite of AT&T (like being neutral on the iPhone hacking and stuff). While Apple's hardware and software are a little bit more pricey than most other companies, they actually put out an original product. If you want to go buy the next laptop that is made with half-ass parts and pay a premium for it be my guest. I for one will never buy a high-end Dell laptop or desktop because they are much more overpriced than anything Apple sells.
Lastly, every run in I have had with AppleCare has been as good as or better than any other electronics customer service out there. It looks like you just want to whine. Grow up and stop being a baby. - CAD420, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5You're obviously new here aren't you?
- holygram, on 10/10/2007, -7/+11That's funny you would say that, because no one cares.
- elnerdo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Don't feed the troll, guys.
- suprxtragrav, on 12/09/2008, -4/+8strike two
- macapplejobs, on 10/10/2007, -10/+14I have owned 3 iPods in my life. I bought the touch for my wife last week and the problem has happened to her. I expect apple to remedy this asap or I'm going to buy a flash zune for her. Been wanting to check out the MS market anyway.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6iBooks were out years ago, my friend. If you were on the Apple bandwagon you would have realized that.
- joejordan, on 10/10/2007, -5/+9it just works. oh wait...
- corporalclegg24, on 10/10/2007, -8/+12It was a quality control thing, they didnt know it was going to happen.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Ughhhhh.
- biliabong6, on 10/10/2007, -7/+10haha guinea pigs --- never take the first sip of the kool-aid ....TSOD!
- pintomp3, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3what a coincidence, woot has a zune now.
http://www.woot.com/ - clyde2801, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Don't let the door hit yer a$$ on the way out..
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4a locked down future where you cant do anything with "your" iLife unless apple authorizes it. Sheeps like you scare me. Never ever let a corporation dictate your life.
- clyde2801, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4That's the first mac commandment. The second is, thou shalt always buy applecare.
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -2/+5Come on in, there's more than enough thermal grease for the two of us.
- Wilddigi, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Even if it happens to alot of people, Apple still can deny there is a problem or ignore it. The only way is to "ADMIT IT" officially
- gmarsch, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I'd just like to give a big FU to the condescending, pizza-faced CSR at the Lynnwood Apple Store who tried to tell me there wasn't any issues with the screen and accused me of "nit-picking". He also assured me that Apple wouldn't be putting out any kind of hardware revisions and if I wanted to exchange the unit, I only had 14 days and would still have to pay a restock fee. Needless to say, I did not buy an iPod touch.
- plaing, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2your smart
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+5hehe. I like you.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2why?
- Wilddigi, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2***** you DELL, ***** you SONY, ***** you HP. ***** you Mercedes Benz, ***** you BMW, ***** everyone.
- MacParrot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2You're only locked down if you buy locked down products potp. Get over it. Not every Mac user is rushing to an Apple store to buy whatever product is announced.
- Shawn4168, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2You know...cause somebody's totally going to give you $400 in exchange for a $100 Apple store credit.
- nekochan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2but those ones are full of jerks and screaming kids and the lifeguards don't care about you.
- MacParrot, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3What is this "mac" company you speak of? OH! You mean Apple and you're too stupid to actually attempt to get it right. Can I digg you down because you're a moron?
- MakinBacon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Really AzMegladon? You're sick of buying Apple products? Sick of being an Apple Fanboy? From your comment history: http://digg.com/users/AzMegladon/history/comments ... you do nothing but say "***** Apple" and complain about Apple fanboys on Digg. You even lay down the classic: "Macs are for *****! I mean dickwads." I get it... that would make you a neutral observer.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Yeah MS would have a better product out in the first place.
Its not like its a st1 gen product, they just decided to use cheaper and worse parts and sell it to the Apple cult. - GawtMilk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2The difference is it's free to beta test Microsoft products. People paid $299 for a defective product.
