I bought stock from Apple when it was 140 dollars...yeah I'm a hurtin. - redwallhp, on 10/04/2008, -1/+4As cool as Steve is, and as important as he is to Apple, he doesn't do everything himself. He made Apple what it is today, and keeps the company on track, but Jonathan Ive is every bit as important. Mr Ive is the head designer at Apple, and the one responsible for the look and feel of every product since the '96 iMac. (Read his Wikipedia page for more info.) While I'm sure the Jobs Test is the best quality control Apple could ever have, and his working at Apple has contributed a lot to what the company is today, Apple is not a one-man operation.
We just need to hope a corporate Wall Street-type doesn't wind up being CEO, then it will be the early 90s all over again for Apple... - HarryRag, on 10/03/2008, -2/+5lol
