- goodhorsehymn, on 01/30/2008, -3/+40The slideshow was just slightly too fast for me to actually be able to take it in.
- FoxOrian, on 01/30/2008, -2/+33I'm not sure if this really counts as blogspam... they're kind of the guys who created it.
- deevay, on 01/30/2008, -5/+35Why remember apple? it's as alive as it has ever been.
- Demitaka, on 01/30/2008, -14/+38Steve jobs is still a douchbag....
- terrible0ne, on 01/30/2008, -0/+17this would be pretty cool if not for the cheesy hair band song and the blindingly fast slideshow speed. you dont even have time to process the ads.

- CanTheSpam, on 01/30/2008, -1/+13The title and picture made me think that Steve Jobs had met the BSOD.
- amneosis, on 01/30/2008, -4/+16Buried for 'sheeple' - a word I don't believe anyone use without a massive loss of dignity, like 'pwn'.

- inactive, on 01/30/2008, -2/+10I don't know why people think he's a douchebag. Is it because he yells at people? Is it because people think they know him because they watched Pirates of Silicon Valley? It is because he sells things really well? I always hear people say they don't like him, but the reasons they provide are silly. The most annoying are the people that don't like him cause he "overhypes" his product. WTF? A CEO ISN'T supposed to overhype their product? Since when?
- Brad324, on 01/30/2008, -2/+10an Apple article worshiping Steve Jobs making the front page? On Digg?
- endustry, on 01/30/2008, -1/+8The Corporation is your Friend.
The Corporation is your Friend.
The Corporation is your Friend.
The Corporation is your Friend.
The Corporation is your Friend.
The Corporation is your Friend. - triskele, on 01/30/2008, -1/+8Agreed. I'm still waiting for Palm to go under so someone can put together something like this for them to show how little they've changed over the years.
- kmb1794, on 01/30/2008, -6/+13This kind of nostaligia for a corporation is getting old.
- schnikies79, on 01/30/2008, -0/+6I don't care what you think about apple, but sheeple is a worthless word.
So, like the above poster, you're getting buried for it. - meggani, on 01/30/2008, -2/+8Man, I miss those toilet-seat ibooks. I wanted one so bad when they first came out.
- Dylson, on 01/30/2008, -2/+8No.
- TastyLamp, on 01/30/2008, -7/+12Say what you will about Apple, but they have always had one of the best designed websites on the internet.
- charliecharlos, on 01/30/2008, -0/+5Windows on a Mac = "Heaven is on fire"
- inactive, on 01/30/2008, -1/+6I don't get it, why so nostalgic for stuff about 5 years old?

- usingpond, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3Yes, these "sheeple" are like 8% of the market share. What the ***** were you talking about again?
- KSUdesigner, on 01/30/2008, -1/+4I bet he knows how to use a reply button though.
- chkdg8, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3Yeah, it needs to be at least twice the speed for me to enjoy it. (sarcasm)
- websyndicate, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3VH1 Worst Song Ever
- bigsteve, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3Yea, really, is "Apple.com" terminally ill or something?
- Quix, on 01/30/2008, -1/+4Sigh, the sub-$2,000 Power Mac. I miss those days...
- skidooer, on 01/30/2008, -2/+4MacOS X is NeXT, not BeOS.
Just about all the technology we take for granted today was pushed forward by Apple. They certainly didn't invent the technology, nor did I say they did, but without them they'd just be obscure hardware/software that only a small fraction of the people would even know about. - bigsteve, on 01/30/2008, -0/+2Aw dude, that's weird...
- bbelau, on 01/30/2008, -1/+3ok...Apple.com was around way before the Internet Wayback machine....Am I the only one that remembers the original apple.com that had the charcoal gray curvy navigation bar, circa 1995-1997? I SHOULD bury as innacurate, but the rest of it looks nice, so I'll be nice too
- etx313, on 01/30/2008, -1/+3Slow Jerk...
- nubnub, on 01/30/2008, -0/+2ohhh reminders of how much apple pissed me off over the years.
- inactive, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2And the fanboys have smething to distract them from their lack of social skills for a few more minutes.
- smrekar, on 01/30/2008, -2/+32 things amazed me.
1. Their design style has changed very minimally since the inception of OS X - Mainly they have used more Black and white, and a lot less words. The public has really embraced their design. Notice the first shots of the G4Ti?
2. Am I freakin old? Im only 27, but i remember almost all of that. - bigsteve, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2O'Doyle Rules.
- borez, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2I decided to watch the first season of 24 again the other day and they were using G3's for the mainframe computer terminals??
- bigsteve, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Just don't get the 1.42ghz with the bad motherboard. Lots of people got burnt and a lot of them found their way onto CL and ebay. Ask for serials!
- platypibri, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2Rudi, there are better ways to get attention. Someday girls will like you.
I think. I mean, usually it happens. - adka85, on 01/31/2008, -0/+1George Harrison 1943-2001 -> RIP, Mix, Burn?????
- JuliusErving, on 02/01/2008, -0/+1As others have said, it was a great idea but the slides just went way too fast.
- moofer, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2With 15 year-old music...
Makes me want to stuff a Coors Light party ball into the back seat of my Celica, drive to the river bottom, build a bonfire with stolen pallets and yell "WOOOOOO! Class of 1990 rules!!!!" - catfishkempster, on 02/01/2008, -0/+1OMG...Even though I remember most of those images, that was sooooooo boring.
- skeletorcares, on 01/31/2008, -0/+1can i get those 30 seconds back please, fanboys?
- skidooer, on 01/30/2008, -2/+3Apple is one of the few companies that is able to push technology forward. That has made a profound impact on the computer industry, if nothing else.
