Here's hoping that the Spaces fix(es) address the issues with the system that drive me nuts (such as switching to another Space when there is a document window open in the current Space for the application you are switching to, forgetting which document window you as active when you switch back to a Space, and sometimes defaulting to the Finder when you change Space). I'm also intrigued by "Portable Home Directory" - is this the Home directory that you can carry on your iPod?
Anyway, if they can make Spaces behave as I believe that it should then I'll be happy.

Portable Home Directory is not what it appears to be. It's a Mac OS X Server feature.

please put iCal's interface back the way it was. I'm wearing out my tab key and I don't think Applecare will cover it.

Please fix .mac - everything from Back to My Mac, to syncing with calenders causing programs to crash. What a $99-pile-o'-feces .

I am still happy with Leopard, but it doesn't have the stability of Tiger and is slower in strange places. I am really hoping that 10.5.3 sets things straight. I am starting to think that it won't, apple seems to care much more about the iPhone than macs right now.

I installed this yesterday. I've already lost 5 pounds, my voicemail is filled with women wanting to have sex with me and my cat, which normally hates the ground I walk on gave me the time of day. Highly recommended.

I have to say that I am not finding my Mac particularly stable these days which is a shame. I have had lots of Safari crashes of late ( 3.1 ). Hopefully 10.5.3 will be about stabilising and fixing bugs.

Please fix my SAMBA copying/moving/deleting problem through the GUI to my Windows Server 2003 file server (but the terminal works perfectly)! If I can't even get it to do simple file sharing in my Windows environment, then how am I supposed to deploy Macs to my users at work? I WAS open to the idea of letting users switch to a Mac ...

Still no Java 1.6 on Leopard :( I bet Java 1.7 will be released before Apple has an official 1.6 release for Leopard :(

after 10.5.2 my macbook doesnt automatically sleep like how its set to. closing the lid makes it sleep but leaving it open the monitor just turns off and the sleep light stays solid but doesnt pulse. hopefully this fixes it

I'm hoping this will stop the Kernel Panics everytime I open DVD player.

I hope leopard will get stable finally. My install discs really really want to upgrade my machine.

I also hope adobe will make all their software compatible with it......one of my workhorse programs isn't compatible with leopard =(

802.1x authentication is another issue being addressed. For anyone using wifi in a corporate or educational environment, Leopard has been a nightmare. Generally you can get logged on once, but fail to authenticate after that without rebooting your computer. Here's hoping it is fixed.
On a side note, yay for Apple for adding 802.1x to the iPhone 2.0 software. It sucks that the high-level execs at my company with iPhones have to use crappy EDGE in the building rather than our Elektron-powered wifi.

I bought Leopard the day it came out, and even though there are 300 new features, I feel like there are 300 new bugs as well. So I downgraded back to Tiger, which sucks less in my opinion, and experimenting with Leopard on an external hard drive Leopard installation until it is more usable. Look forward to trying 10.5.3 out of curiosity though.

I just wish it's a rather lightweight update... I've tried to install 10.5.2 update twice and failed -- that's 2x 300MB of my bandwidth :(

I use 10.5.2 on a mini G4 and it seems slower than 10.5.0 and 10.5.1 I hope this update is G4 friendly!!! Saludos from the 3rd world all you spoiled MoFos!!!

yes, rogerlocal! Let's hope that 10.5.3 will take care of the very obvious slowdown that 10.5.2 created on my G4 1.42GHz with 1GB RAM which was working very well previously.
And I hope they fix Time Machine since Time Machine basically lost my entire backups (not only the Time Machine backups, but also the manual backups partition as well) when it crashed repeatedly and eventually took out the 500GB drive to the point I had to reinitialize the entire hard drive not just the Time Machine partition. I am not a happy camper. Tiger was so much better than the current 10.5.2. Time Machine keeps killing the external Maxtor 500GB drive when I try again to use Time Machine after getting the drive successfully repartition and reformat.
In the meantime, I sure hope the drive will format properly in another OS so I can maybe just use it as a VFAT partition for manual back up storage.

Every day i'm searching for a fix for my USB ports running at 1.1 speeds. Leopard updates are becoming very microsoft.

please fix the bug where Dashboard and Exposé keyboard shortcuts are cleared after restoring or deleting a file in Time Machine!
