- beelz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14apple box 360.
- simpletech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I work with Macworld and we did not get one or did anyone else in the business. Its a Fake guys. (sorry)
- boltoflightning, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i believe in a fake too, it's cut out of an airport express promotional picture, see here:
http://www.macbitch.de/?p=47 - AHIGHERGOD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Granny Smith. New flavor to the Apple line up.
- mikeod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It will be a Apple cigarette lighter.
- Winklepr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1February 22nd? Doubt it'll be much, I think they'll save the big guns (aka iBook/MacBooks, MacTablet, etc.) for a special event late March or early April for their 30th Anniversary on April 1st that Steve eluded to at MWSF. This may be a new airport express, bluetooth mighty mouse, or other such upgrades on the accessory front. But I wouldn't expect anything beyond maybe that rumored 1 GB Nano or something to replace/update the very aged (in comparison to other iPod's) Shuffle line. Not to say that be a bad thing though, I personally would like to see a Bluetooth version of the Mighty Mouse myself. But I doubt this is going to be anything big/huge/etc. I have a feeling this is going to be the pre-show, and the main event (or as Jobs might say, one more thing...) will come closer to their 30th Anniversary on April 1st, probably the tuesday before or after knowing Apple and special events...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is gotta be faked. I checked the Moscone Center events website (http://www.moscone.com/site/do/event/list) and they don't have anything listed for Apple or for Feb. 22nd. Add that to the fake looking invitation and you get something that smells mighty fishy.
- yensed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm thinking Intel Mac Mini...
- hyperpasta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1From the Flickr user that brought you the fake video iPod... the fake invitation!!!!
No digg, too bad I got my hopes up. - palillont, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"i highly doubt this. the invitation doesn't look official. i get this photoshopped feeling"
+1 - inkswamp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think this is a fake.
For these kinds of events in the past, MacRumors, ThinkSecret and AppleInsider have all beaten everyone to the punch by many, many days, and neither of them have a word about this. If it's real, the three most solid and stealthy sources for Mac rumors are clueless and that's very unlikely. - diggMacs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0To the guy who called me a fool: I can (and do) stream full-length movies encoded in H.264 to my iBook (802.11g) over my wireless network *now*. I'm not talking about HD video, which is what you're referring to, but why would Apple sell something where the technology isn't in place and they're not selling any content for the device? What I said in my earlier comment fits Apple's M.O. and the limits of current technology.
Don't make arrogant comments and call people names when you don't know what you're talking about.
Have a good day. - jicon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If you think you can stream decent video wirelessly over a G connection, you're a fool. The next incarnation of wireless (N, .16, whatever it is) will be needed for wireless video done right.
- diggMacs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think they would introduce something for the home that ties together their existing media products, and extends audio/video functions. Hasn't SJ said he dislikes TV? How about a small 4:3 tablet with Bluetooth/802.11g which acts as a high-end Frontrow remote (more media control), can stream iTunes videos to the tablet, and pump the audio through to an Airport Express? It would allow a person to work on the computer in a home office while someone else sits with the tablet and a stereo system watching the latest episode of 'Lost' streamed from that computer to the bedroom/living room etc.
Later, if/when Apple moves to movie distribution with HD quality, they could release a better version with widescreen and UWB but basically the same features.
Airport Express Video seems like a good name for something like that... - xkeithx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Can anyone Attend? Public or just media?
- adondr, on 11/30/2007, -0/+0Cheapest and the best data recovery service in the world.

shush - thefilmguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I predict an 80Gb video Ipod! 6Gb Nano as far as wireless, bluetooth or otherwise I still on the fence on that one.
- dylanA, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hopefully a tablet labtop?
- willij, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This has to be fake. Apple does not show glimpes of their new products.
- Rickard, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"It's a fake. Myriad spacing is off."
Exactly. Whoever faked this needs to learn about kerning. - Chasin_Fat_Kids, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0fake - and misleading - so noted.
- dolby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How about iPod high fi?

Cabin Crew - http://www.sristysaviation.com/lib/subscribe.htm - DPowers08, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Had to undigg due to obvious flaws. Good catch boltoflightning. I was hoping for a video Airort Express, but gave up when one wasn't announced at Macworld and bought the current model.
- bryantee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Whatever it is I'm intrigued. I'm already excited so I'm bound to love it. Good strategy.
- konstratos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Please announce an emulation or something so I can run Macromedia apps & Pro Tools on the new Intel hardware!!!
- hyperpasta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@konstratos
It already exists and comes with all Intel Macs. It's called Rossetta, and runs about as fast as a G4. - grayBot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0looks pretty fake to me... flyer looks too poorly designed for apple anyway...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Can't be at north side

wtf? first: i think that can go for the entire computing industry... and secondly: apple products age pretty gracefully. more so than most other computer manufacturers. - ezkiel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"I'm thinking Intel Mac Mini..."
I HOPESO!!!!
(can you tell im excited to get back on mac) I took a hiatus and sold my powerbook before the value dropped. missing my mac like crazy (though gaming is fun). - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0bravo...genius...that's what I did guh
- thyratron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If the Mac Mini does ship with an Intel Core Solo, I hope it is in a socket. I've been waiting to get a Mini, but really want it with a Core Duo. I think the chips are still quite expensive through retail channels though. Maybe used ones will become available after speeds bumps in 6 months or so get a few people upgrading their iMacs. Those do have a socket.
- beggersfunk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0 X-BOX 360, very funny beelz, hahaha! But in the same time i totally agree its a fake and that sucks. This Airport x-press rumors are on and on for a while now. When i heard this from Digg i am about to sell my Airport x-press! Then agan...
- jakeadams, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0say it is legit. what if that is the is the front of a remote for a mediacenter mini mac? even though if they did come out with one, it would have a bluetooth remote.
- chicksdigme, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cant wait for the Mac Mini with Intel chip. I just hope it's not just an Intel Solo though:)
Furthermore, I hope it's fast enough for everyday tasks. - corsairstw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wasn't the last special music event somewhere else besides Moscone Center?
- 23seconds, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0very fake
- safer9999, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Airport Express video with Apple remote control frontrow interface. Concept "Remote Desktop TCPIP to Front Row" sesion. (ITUNES via 6.02 supports video TRY IT). Will support all conection types to TV/VIDEO connections. Price Point aroundt $169 USD.
Talking Points "Why we don't think you need a MEDIA/PC solution" - mattv, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hopefully you'll all drink the kool-aid
- thyratron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why does everyone think that picture is a product? To me it looks like the cardboard box, the the round yellow thing just being a seal that holds the front and back together on one side.
It would be fun to see an Airport Express that did video. -
