- sean.ferguson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0All im going to say is iMac. Its the switchers dream - high power low price. Its going to be nice to see what they can do with the Intel as I myself are also a Mac user.
- clvrmnky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Market share is nothing. It's mindshare in a specific discipline that matters. BMW is not interesting in selling cars to Echo owners. Similarly, if you look at who actually owns a Mac by discipline those numbers would be quite different.
That is, if you just look at specific professions like designers, academics and developers, I suspect that 4% is more like 50-80%
Also, platform chauvanism is boring. People with an education and a job often have more than one computer, or can work with more than one platform because that is how the world works. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Yawn.
So a bunch of people bought cheap Mac minis. Big deal.
Enjoy your blip Mac crazies, with the garbage coming out of Intel next year, you'll be looking back in fondness at 4% this time next year.
