- BIGmog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1200 yen is equal to $1.80. The same song in America only costs .99 cents.
- JetwingX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1note that most of the songs ate 150¥ which is about $1.30. where as a song bought in the UK @ £0.79 would be the equivalent of $1.40. and a song bought in Germany @ 0.99 € would com out to $1.22
that Japanese don't really have it all that bad - mikeflynt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It is possible for us with a US iTunes Music Store account to purchase music from Japan iTunes Music Store?
- Tang, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If you can get a hold of a gift card for the Japan iTMS you could probably purchase songs that way.
- enjayenel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0astrokid, after iTunes for Windows was released, Japanese Windows users used iTunes to transfer their songs. There was just no music store available for them to buy from until today.
- colinb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0iPods used to come with musicmatch jukebox before iTunes for the PC was released.
- Ryokurin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0two dollars is not bad considering that a full cd can be up to 30 dollars in Japan.
- AstroKid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Please excuse my ignorance, but what software did people use before to transfer files to their ipods?
- koach, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So is there anyway for me in the USA to go to the Japan iTunes store and download some J-Pop? Say...Hamasaki or Utada Hikaru? If not, then Apple needs to get it together! This is a new generation, and people enjoy listening to music from all over the world. If they want us to buy this stuff legally, then at least offer it.
