- ShoGunX900, on 06/11/2008, -8/+281Mirror mirror in my hand, please let this video chat go as planned
- lpxxfaintxx2, on 06/11/2008, -15/+249*****. You got me there.
- Shreyasva, on 06/11/2008, -7/+181is it available without a two year contract?
- PhillyMJS, on 06/11/2008, -0/+131If you break the two-year contract you are bound by a different, seven-year contract.
- phoomp, on 06/11/2008, -1/+108Obviously a fake. There's no *way* Apple would only charge $29 for this.
- xtremesniper, on 06/11/2008, -3/+101I see what you did there...
- conglomerator, on 06/11/2008, -14/+71Think Different (c)
- rednaxela825, on 06/11/2008, -4/+59Front page with a "ZOMG!"... 10 Internets for you
- Zandarrr, on 06/11/2008, -7/+53After the creation of iPod socks I wouldn't doubt it if Apple actually went ahead and made a product like this.
- Sairynn, on 06/11/2008, -1/+44Mirror mirror on the net, kittenman's joke is the worst one yet.
- SkippyDoorknob, on 06/11/2008, -2/+44What's the battery life like for this kit?
- mikethejohnson, on 06/11/2008, -0/+39Why video conference? Then you actually have to put clothes on.....
- sockpuppets, on 06/11/2008, -2/+29Read all the comments on the page, there's dozens of people that think it's real. Lol.
- Jeffler, on 06/11/2008, -3/+28I used the videoconferencing kit to see what YOU did there.
- skidooer, on 06/11/2008, -0/+22If you have to put your clothes on, you're not doing it right.
- Firehed, on 06/11/2008, -0/+22It's even available for the first-gen iPhone!
- stealthspc, on 06/11/2008, -1/+20Video conferencing is pointless if none of your friends would have it. Just would bloat the cost of the iPhone.
I'm going to say no to video conferencing. Or at least make it a separate model for businesses. - rawg, on 06/11/2008, -2/+21No thanks. I'll wait for the handsfree head gear attachment.
- Fiyerstorm, on 06/11/2008, -0/+18This is b.s.
Apple fanboys don't have a reflection. - DanBoodro, on 06/11/2008, -2/+20$29.00? That's a steal.
- TheRealDB, on 06/11/2008, -25/+43My blackberry has had this same innovation for years! About time Apple FINALLY caught up
- dcmjzero, on 06/11/2008, -10/+28am i the only one who thinks video calling is bad idea?
- StephanCom, on 06/11/2008, -3/+18Apple seems to have figured out that you don't have to run faster than the bear - just faster than the other guy
- diggimator, on 06/11/2008, -0/+14That'll be $29.00 extra.
- inactive, on 06/11/2008, -4/+18hahaha.
Wow the iphone is a revolution.
Better throw out my 3 and a half year old 3g Motorola with 2 cameras.... - SirZRX, on 06/11/2008, -8/+21im dissapointed with the iphone 3G , is almost the same but A-GPS and 3G, 1 year and those are the super new features? what a lack of innovation!
- DevinOlsen, on 06/11/2008, -1/+14That was absolutely terrible.
- NinjaMunky, on 06/11/2008, -4/+17Wait, what? How dare you question the marketing genius of the iMirror/iSelf/iFlection! (just pick one for said joke)
- Dubbsacc, on 06/11/2008, -0/+12Solar powered...
- inactive, on 06/11/2008, -7/+18Come on, it's clearly a joke.
- sputza, on 06/11/2008, -1/+12Well played, sir.
- skyshock1, on 06/11/2008, -1/+11Runs on smug.
- driftwood07, on 06/11/2008, -0/+10clever
- inactive, on 06/11/2008, -4/+13Not only that, they're already praising Apple for being innovative, geniuses and listening to consumers.
- tjex, on 06/11/2008, -5/+14Actually, video conferencing is hardly using around the world. It hasn't taken off.
- Sairynn, on 06/11/2008, -5/+14Don't forget about the improved speakers (according to Jobs), improved reception, flush headphone jack, lower upfront cost, and longer battery life. Worthless. Oh and the SDK and app store look *totally* useless as well.
/sarcasm. Who cares if the iPhone doesn't have all the features of other phones (admittedly, some things are missing - MMS, copy+paste, A2DP)? If it does what the buyer wants and does it well, which arguably it does due to the wonderful interface, then what's the big deal? - sockpuppets, on 06/11/2008, -1/+10At one time there were only two people using email, too.
- AndersHj, on 06/11/2008, -0/+9have anyone ever had a phone with this capability? How much did you use it?
Coming from Scandinavia where we have a ton of such phones with 3g and double cameras the truth is that people hard ever use this capability. It's something we thought was very cool, but turned out to be very very rarely used, simply because people are not interested in having to "look good" to answer the phone.
I think that a simple think like video capability and a flash would be used much much much more that a second camera.
Wouldn't you? - inactive, on 06/11/2008, -0/+9they will patent the mirror and you will have to pay to look at yourself in the morning.

But, does it have DTT? - hoodratthangs, on 06/11/2008, -0/+8"hey yo! Yo Phil! Can we get this iChat AV ***** to work! Yo!"
- Skahara, on 06/11/2008, -0/+8You know, it has an apple logo.
- PabloMac, on 06/11/2008, -0/+8Especially when you go upstairs to your mom's kitchen for breakfast every afternoon.
- neferiousrich, on 06/11/2008, -0/+7did anyone else think that was gonna be it before they clicked?
- Puppetx, on 06/11/2008, -0/+7I thought they said it was going to be free!*
*with a 2 year contract @ > $50 a month. - vuzman, on 06/11/2008, -0/+7I've had a 3G phone for about two years now, and a plan with free video calls. Apart from trying it initially, I have never used the video call/conferencing ability. It's just not practical. It might make sense in front of a computer, but not out and about where I usually use my phone.
I won't miss the functionality when I buy my iPhone 3G... - cliffoliveira, on 06/11/2008, -0/+7HEYOOOOOOOO!
