It's waaaaay about time. - Scott2, on 01/06/2009, -0/+5No DRM and 3G Downloads = Good.
Variable pricing = Bad. - pimpslaper, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4My god(flying spaghetti monster)....my prayers have come true
- upeneff, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4Variable pricing? Isn't it nice to know exactly how much something is going to be worth when you go to look for it. And it's not like it's Gas here, we're not going to run out of downloads.
If it's popular? You already make more. - Bloake, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4They should competitively lower the price too!
- dmarquard, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3Great news, but I'm still not changing download services (cough, TPB).
- logic6, on 01/06/2009, -0/+31 step in the right direction.
This is my suggestion for pricing:
Reduce cost of songs to something like 10 cents / MB - you want the FLAC version of "The Wall", it's going to cost you 20 bucks. You want a 30 second ring-tone from Beyonce, 10 cents. - scoobycarolan, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2please, don't get crazy. You will so have to rebuy everything.
- upeneff, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2The rest is ALL good though!
- Zippo, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2Getting rid of DRM will be more than welcome, especially if they allow customers to "upgrade" all their previous downloads.
- djjustinjohnson, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2Baby steps...
"Content is King, the Customer is King Kong, and Service is Godzilla" - Bloake, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1Woot Woot!! They are lowering prices...on some songs.
