I believe the latest DivX package for Mac includes a working AC3 codec.

- BlueStarr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The issue with iTunes. Make sure it's not already running when you launch FrontRow. I rebooted my computer decided to play around with it and tried iTunes one more time and it worked. You don't need to reboot just make sure the it's not already open when you launch FrontRow.

That's a good question. Don't know really. This is what other Mac users have been saying is a possible work around. Time will tell. Now that I have it I'm going to purchase and try it out for myself. Front Row is now functioning perfectly for me, with no iTunes connection problems at all, and it's running smoothly. :) - silverdragon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Try useing Romeo with a bluetooth enabled phone it works GREAT!
- kingofallchili, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Belkin MediaPilot wireless keyboard (with built in pointing device in the keyboard) works great with FrontRow on my MacMini (attached to 43" DLP HDTV running 1280x720 resolution). Start FrontRow, then Esc to activate FrontRow, then use cursor keys to navigate, Enter/Return to select, Esc to back up in menu structure. Love it. If Apple sells the bundle with a remote, I'll certainly buy it and install it and use it in lieu of the hack.
- jackattack51, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't know you guys, I'm having no problems at all with front row. Never copied my bezel though. Lets see, first time I ran it, it worked, stopped it and tried again and got the itunes error. After that I rebooted and repaired my permissions, but I don't think that helped. After that I can't seem to get anything to mess up. DVD play back is still broken, but streaming movies from apple.com or watching any of my movies, slideshows, or listening to any of my music is perfect, if not a tad bit slow everytime you restart frontrow.
I have an iBook G4 1.2 Ghz 512 ram - kingofallchili, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0MacMini/FrontRow running great. I fixed the "Can't communicate with iTunes" issue I noted above by booting off an external disk so that I could properly copy the "BezelServices.framework" folder according to the instructions. Once I booted off an external HD, I could copy the folder to the internal boot drive. I changed the startup disk back to the internal HD, restarted, now iTunes is working with FrontRow and looks great.

I think it because the original instructions suggested to install Front Row in two places causing a conflict. It was slow and buggy and the transitions weren't smooth but now it cool. Although the only thing not working is DVD feature. But that's cool, everything else is working tight. - BlueStarr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Update. The pervious installation is wrong--at least for me it was. Many of the bugs are gone now. This installation did the trick. One of the nice steps to this is the use of Xkeys. I assigned F8 to trigger Front Row and it's smooth as silk. No icon in the Dock. Perfect. Have yet to test DVD function.
