- inactive, on 01/25/2008, -2/+5Why create a misleading headline saying Steve Jobs lost "1 Billion", when your line description admits that Steve Jobs won't lose a penny unless for some stupid reason he decides to sell his stock at a lower price?
- brutusx, on 01/27/2008, -0/+1It isn't misleading. Think in terms of net worth. If 50% of his net worth is Apple stock, and that went down 10%, his net worth just went down 5%.
- ThinkBox, on 01/25/2008, -0/+1Not misleading. People speak in these terms all the time when they talk about stocks. If it was your stock and your 1$ Bil, I'm sure it might feel like losing that much.
- s1mph0ny, on 01/27/2008, -0/+1I think this is a perfect example of why paying CEO's in stocks IS a good idea. The company does poorly, and the CEO loses out. If your pay went up or down based on how well your division performed, you'd probably work harder. If Jobs is worth his pay, he'll bring the stock price back up.
