- scarper86, on 10/11/2007, -4/+190Thank god modern computers have brought us the era of the "paperless office."
Sweet setup though. - jimT, on 10/11/2007, -4/+154Being on the board of directors of Apple surely provides some ... advantages!
- aussieNickuss, on 10/11/2007, -3/+136Looks like his desk follows the same "pyramid" policy as mine. If you place something on top and it falls off.......it doesn't belong on the desk.
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -22/+141You need all the monitors you can get when you search for the elusive ManBearPig.
- deathtoartists, on 10/11/2007, -13/+122I'm so jealous!
- MindTrigger, on 10/11/2007, -21/+111That is the desk of someone who is actually getting some ***** work done. Run for president, Al.
- NeoRicen, on 10/11/2007, -20/+103Hey dumbass energy doesnt equal carbon emissions, you can have green power.
- mikesbaker, on 10/11/2007, -2/+84well his technology sure has come a long way. just look at this:

- tc811, on 10/11/2007, -23/+91If you ask me, he looks super-serial about his work.
- basye, on 10/11/2007, -4/+72He organizes in piles, just like me!
- KlayBorg, on 10/11/2007, -14/+79Who cares? Seriously, nobody gives a ***** about you and your stupid computer game.
- jackyyll, on 10/11/2007, -3/+67I sure hope all that paper is recycled paper!
- Destos, on 10/11/2007, -16/+77I would so rather have had a president that knew how to use a computer. And hes actually using a 'real' computer at that.
- hoghug, on 10/11/2007, -7/+60"I work as a graphic designer and I can tell you I wouldn't touch Apple monitors with a ten-foot pole. But for office work it might by OK."
Interesting. I too work as a professional designer/ illustrator and I wouldn't work on anything else. - AoiTakuma, on 11/06/2007, -19/+68why would he run? every time he runs and wins they give the job to someone else
- KlayBorg, on 10/11/2007, -22/+68He is on their board of directors, you moron.
No matter what you say, that man has done more for the world in the past 5 years than you could ever hope achieve. - inactive, on 10/16/2007, -5/+48I'm sure he powers the monitors with windmills outside and makes his own paper from dutch elms he has growing in his backyard.
- airmann90, on 10/11/2007, -14/+56People still play counter-strike?
- velvethead, on 10/11/2007, -7/+48Not sure why I bother anymore, but people Al Gore NEVER SAID he invented the internet. It was a media fabrication based on comments he made about being involved in the early days of the internet while in the senate. The sad thing is, while Al really was involved in the early days, actually aware of what was going on. And, at the time, GW was by his own admission still drinking. Sad.
- zomgzlol, on 10/11/2007, -3/+44"Here we have the man who said 'he invented the internet' and he uses a Mac. Clueless? Me too. Speaks volumes for the average Mac user's computing knowledge."
M.O.R.O.N.
He never claimed he invented the net. The only claim he made was to push for the funding for it in its early years. This total lack of knowledge is extended right through your whole comment. Well done, special star sticker for you.
"Yeah SuRE is environmental....How many tens of thousands of dollars to power his summer house.....3x30inch displays=1000+watts...."we need to save power" BULLL ***** *****..... POLITICs.........."
LCD displays consume about 1/10th of the power you say they do. The plasma screen to his right will consume twice the power of all three monitors together. That aside, special star sticker for you too. - ScrabbyDoo, on 10/11/2007, -5/+38i think its not beause apple per se, we're just nerds. Would have dugg it if it was a 3 dell monitor setup too
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+32who needs hot interns when you have 3 cinema displays like that.
- jodokast, on 10/11/2007, -4/+35Electricity...
- SNIa, on 10/11/2007, -5/+35That Chair looks comfy!
- LeonardNimrod, on 10/11/2007, -0/+25His office isn't usually so cluttered. He happens to be printing out a hardcopy of the internet.
- gharding, on 10/11/2007, -2/+26You realize that you could power like 30 30" ACDs by spending $13k on solar panel installation.
- getouttamyfog, on 10/11/2007, -16/+37My respect just went way up for Al Gore.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -13/+34YOU'RE
- gincarnated, on 10/16/2007, -11/+31Would have made a great president. Such a shame the way things ended up for America and the rest of the world.
- dw2005, on 10/11/2007, -8/+27Lay off the Fox News for a bit -- You might actually learn something.
http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/gorehome.asp - Mirag3, on 10/11/2007, -8/+26But Clinton was a Rhode's scholar with an IQ of 185 - Bush is just the retarded monkey in the White House.
- musicfreak21, on 10/11/2007, -1/+18haha. Drudgereport is open.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+19hasn't he ever hear of Tabbed browsing?

...I don't see it. - theradical, on 10/11/2007, -1/+15what it doesn't show is that they're all powered by potatoes.
- tinygibbles, on 10/11/2007, -0/+14Tabbed browsing is for people with small screens. If you have 90" of screen space...I want to see what happens when he hits f9.
- davdav, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14and we use the term "organized" loosely.
- metalhead3767, on 10/11/2007, -5/+18Didn't Bush admit he never used email?
- edtruckell, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14theres one man who im sure would be happy if apple implement 'piles' in OSX
- cheesefan, on 10/11/2007, -5/+18He's director on the board of Apple.
Current.tv is also on the TV , which he is the president of.
Both things I love...
- Mirag3, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12When will the idiots learn that when they say "I'm an professional in this *computer related or technical field*," this is Digg - so is everybody else! Stop using your job as an excuse for ignorance!
- canyonblue, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13so did Clinton. he said he never used the computer at all either, except to have an aid help him write emails to his daughter.
- kylesherman, on 10/11/2007, -5/+17It would have been classic to have Al Gore checking his myspace in this picture. Great setup.
- gentlemanjack, on 10/11/2007, -6/+17If only he had invented a way of filing paper.
- etoiles, on 10/16/2007, -1/+11wonder how long it takes to move the cursor across all monitors with so little space for his mouse...
- Chazzer3, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11What a mess!
- lepton, on 10/11/2007, -4/+13He IS saving power. A few years ago those would have been three big CRTs.
- drgruney, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9@dstz
Um... town I live in has a natural gas power plant. There is also the option in my area to use wind generated power. (I live in North Texas)
And Al gets his power from TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) which means his electricity comes from hydroelectric dams, and it's cheap. - jon3k, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Exact Quote from Gore about creating the Internet:
"During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet. I took the initiative in moving forward a whole range of initiatives that have proven to be important to our country's economic growth and environmental protection, improvements in our educational system."
Google it sometime.
Obviously he didn't mean that he actually INVENTED the Internet, it was just clumsy wording, which even he admitted later. Big ***** deal. Can we all move on now? -
