- RapeApe, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3There are more AppleTV resources than AppleTV owners
- MioTheGreat, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4You certainly can't be basing that on this piece of junk.
Media Center Extenders (The 360, for instance) > AppleTV - alecks, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I just want to know, can I play my divx stuff I download via torrent, off of my torrent box w/o copying the media to my Apple TV? I've been holding off on doing the ssh hack untill this solution is available. Something that prefereably auto mounts a network drive on the ATV and, ideally, puts a menu on the screen with all the movies on that folder.

- Lancelot9201, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1The more I use my Apple TV the more I wish I had waited until "Jobs" put this product back on the front burner & upgraded its shortcomings. The lack of good "HD" content on iTunes, no play-list ability & the terrible audio playback are my big hangups. Especially no play-list ability for TV shows or movies.!! Going through the menu after every show is a big waste of time. How they missed that we'd want to program our "Apple TV" to play a whole evenings viewing is beyond me. Plus, only releasing one update so far says they don't care..!!!

- ttate90303, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0For video conversion, I highly recommend (especially for older machines like my PowerBook G4), El Gato's Turbo.264. Excellent product for doing realtime conversions of video. I've had great success at converting some of my DVD movies using this product. The app supports iPod, AppleTV, PSP and iPhone.
