For god sakes, one of these damn features is adding a slider to DVD player, is that really innovation?
Other than that, great history on Aqua - grantmc1, on 10/29/2007, -0/+2Another good review!
- jlindenbaum, on 10/30/2007, -0/+2It's amazing to see how calmed and settled Aqua has become. Over the last 7 years it has matured to a very likeable and useable Desktop.
- Konstantino, on 10/30/2007, -0/+1I agree. Leopard's overall UI is a heck of a lot more consistent, and almost professional-looking. While it still retains some of its aqua-like appearance, you can see major changes. Not to bash on Vista, but Leopard's UI makes Vista look like a toy.
- Ireland, on 10/28/2007, -0/+1Those blue scroll bars "need" to go. And this is from someone who doesn't use Shapeshifter. It's simply weird to two styles vertical scrollbars for different iLife apps etc. Like the blue progress bar, they just look "dated", not to mention the clear and blue Aqua dialog and window buttons.
- NeoRicen, on 10/29/2007, -0/+1I'm really surprised they didn't use the iTunes style scroll bars and buttons. They match the rest of the UI (especially the folders) much better. Perhaps they ran out of time an they'll come in a future update.
