    Basically...use what you want and make it look how you want. It shouldn't matter to anyone but you.

    You mean, you like feeling like you're part of an exclusive community. The Windows community is an order of magnitude bigger than the Mac community when you factor in enterprise.

    Ubuntu 8.10 is quite superior to Mac OS 10.5.4

    Step 3. Fire Shotgun
    Step 4. Empty Savings Account
    Step 5. Acquire Mac

    I see these posts come up about every 6 months or so and have never understood the attraction. You have Windows...make it work the best you can. Others like me have Macs...we do the same. OS envy is pointless

As Mac users then we can understand and justify the premium, but for regular people then they'd be using the Mac for the exact same tasks that they do on their much cheaper PC. So as much as some people act like buying a Mac is the solution for everything, Mac's simply aren't for everyone.
