- digitaldivinci, on 08/18/2008, -2/+34I don't need 5 applications that tell me all I have to do is: Sit on Digg, wait for a story to make a witty retort about, and then constantly check to make sure it doesn't go negative.
- breakerjump, on 08/19/2008, -0/+9No 'Things'? Things rocks.
http://www.culturedcode.com/things/
When CC releases Things Touch 2.0, introducing over-air sync with Things it will be the only GTD To-Do IMHO. - digitaldivinci, on 08/19/2008, -0/+7In reality, I go to College, work as a way to keep busy, have independent work as an in home Computer repair tech.
I also have an enormous dick that makes your mama damn proud of me. - phatphil, on 08/18/2008, -1/+7URL says 6...
and where the hell is Erica Sadun's To Do app?! - thecretinisback, on 08/19/2008, -1/+6I'm still looking for an app that displays a picture of a gem, and doesn't actually do anything.. anyone know where I could find such a thing, or how much it'd cost?
- magicmarc, on 08/18/2008, -0/+4It's on their "to-do"...
- connieLingus, on 08/19/2008, -0/+3to do: start using a to-do app on my iphone.
- boojoy, on 08/19/2008, -0/+3Things is great. I think Todo apps on the iPhone are pretty useless without a sync to a great desktop app, and that's exactly what you get with Things. Very flexible and usable.
Like Merlin Mann said, there are 100 different iPhone todo apps all with a checkmark as their icon and very few are worth their salt.
Now all we need is a list of the top tip calculator apps... - bizkit00, on 08/19/2008, -0/+35 of the best ones you've reviewed eh? Out of... the 5 you reviewed.
- SquareHipster, on 08/19/2008, -0/+3'Things' on mac got me through my last year of college and helped me to manage a couple events. I can just imagine how well it would integrate with your life if you had access to it on your phone, with a decent interface. Never tried it, but if you are looking for an elegant and simple but flexible GTD program, this is well worth your money.
- rumblestrut, on 08/19/2008, -1/+3Personally, my favorite to-do list is 37signals Ta-Da List. Sure, you need internet connectivity, but with an iPhone interface, it's the best in my opinion.
http://tadalist.com/ - weeklywordnews, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2Don't you mean this: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/ ...
It's been on the app store for a while now. - tenio, on 08/19/2008, -2/+4I'm still looking for a "Hearts" app
(the card game) - drakken33, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2Things is truely great. I wish Apple would hurry up and approve 1.1 so we can sync.
I've been testing OmniFocus too. OF has some great things that Things doesn't have (yet) and Things has some great stuff that OF doesn't have. I really can't decide between them. - littleodie914, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2iProcrastinate will have over-air sync with the desktop version soon, as well as the ability to push subjects and tasks between your iPhone and your friends'.
- RobotBuddha, on 08/18/2008, -0/+2That's the one bad thing about having a central repository. There's a couple apps that I actually have the time to port over to 2, but I can't track down anywhere to get the source code.
- Sunscreen, on 08/19/2008, -1/+3Who would pay $1 for an "I Am Poor" app if 10% of the profits went to Feed the Children?
- stilgar91, on 08/18/2008, -0/+2maybe there's an easter egg somewhere ;)
- REBELinBLUE, on 08/19/2008, -0/+21.1 is out and the syncing is fantastic, fast and automatic :D
I just wish apple would speed up their approval process, although it does seem to be getting faster (it took a week this time instead of 2, still ridiculous though) - sn0wmis3r, on 08/18/2008, -0/+1you run your own cydia repo?
- ryleyleckie, on 08/19/2008, -2/+3why would you need 5
- sn0wmis3r, on 08/18/2008, -1/+2I miss moleskine. Best note taking software I had on 1.1.4 (still waiting for port to 2.0)
http://databinge.com/blog/?page_id=88 - drakken33, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1Not even Things? That one is really flexible.
I know what you mean though. A lot of the GTD apps were rushed to the app store, OmniFocus requires me to use alpha software to sync (it's very stable though) and Things is nearly there but from what I understand 1.1 will only have sync and I need areas and tags too before it has a chance to replace OF (unless it does something nifty which means I won't need those features). My perfect GTD app would be a mix of Things and OF. - iplen, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1Ever since the iPhone 3G came out, I've been looking for a good GTD program to install, but there aren't (free or paid) any that really do what I want the way that I want. Not that it usually works out that way anyways..
- rkho, on 08/19/2008, -1/+2no more lists!
- Miamisun, on 08/19/2008, -1/+2I would take that $1 and buy virtual cocaine app...It looks so real and when i make that snorting action it actually disappears. Screw Beer apps.
- floort, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1Things man, Things. It is awesome! Costs though.
- drakken33, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1I think the article was focusing on free apps.
- extrema, on 08/19/2008, -0/+1Remember The Milk as a native application for the iPhone/iPod Touch is coming soon... The last update we had on the RTM blog was last month:

emily (Remember The Milk) says:
chrisbx, I did ask Bob when he might be done, but he's a secretive little fellow, and wouldn't let anything slip. :(
He did say to let you all know that he really appreciates the bananas you've been sending his way (in fact, I think he's starting to look a bit chubby!).
As for a release date, I think tjndds may be onto something... when the last two lines of code are written sounds about right. :) We're doing everything we can to hurry Bob along though.

- theunknown8821, on 08/19/2008, -0/+0I would seriously avoid the DoBot Todo lists. I tried them for about 2-3 weeks and all was well until I tried to delete an item. Once I swiped across with my finger and hit the delete button, the task was instead copied and it deleted an "undone" task! Very careless of them and should be fixed pronto. I personally use Zenbe and it works great.
- pown, on 06/30/2009, -0/+0the pre comes with a FREE todo list. great,
btw. GTD stands for GeT a Damn life - AvidPreatorian, on 08/19/2008, -1/+1yea.. this gives you the choices and you chose... the internet iq just fell a few points
- dkrishb, on 08/19/2008, -0/+0check out http://kbhanot.wordpress.com/2008/08/14/most-impre ... for crash proof apps.
- Soragon, on 08/18/2008, -1/+1All with the same functionality. All I need is one app that does it all.
- AvidPreatorian, on 08/19/2008, -3/+2these are your CHOICES... dont breed
- shaanw, on 08/19/2008, -1/+0how can you make a list of to do apps and leave out omnifocus it is by far the most powerful one on the iphone
- Scopitone, on 08/19/2008, -5/+3Well, boy, your mama must be damn proud of you. ;)
- Diggnabbit, on 08/19/2008, -4/+2Why would you need one?
Seriously, what's the point of a To Do app, as opposed to, say, the notepad App? - SoopaflySAM, on 08/19/2008, -5/+3Super Monkey Ball FTW
- nhd4me, on 08/19/2008, -2/+0I recently tortured my iPhone to death using an angle grinder, a ordinary pair of needle nose pliers and a rubber hammer ... it was only after I watched it lying dead on the floor that I realised that I should have video'd it for all the others that have learned to hate these things ... still I have a friend who enjoyed the show and he still has his ... perhaps I can pursued him to sacrifice it for your viewing pleasure?
- johnmchilton, on 08/19/2008, -7/+1Seriously, wtf? What percent of digg users has an iPhone anyway?
and can't they look up their own darn to-do apps?
This is frontpage clutter, plain and simple
