- redhatcat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Sounds like unbiased reasons to me. Most of these are well documented and admitted mistakes by Apple. Just because it features defects by a company you obviously love, doesn't mean the list is bias. If you don't like it that means you are.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Actually, the Macbook Pros are made by Chinese factory workers working 80 hours a week. Those aren't exactly the best conditions for a high-quality product, which is why so many Macbook Pros have manufacturing defects. Yes, buying a warrantee, or even the 90 day one, will cover you, but wouldn't it be better to buy a product that won't fall apart on you?

I have a MacBook, and I think this list is more propaganda than fact: "The Macbook Pro is shoddily and quickly manufactured in China. "1) Your batteries might swell, explode, or stop working due to heating problems. Your case will be warped out of shape in the process."
Buy an AppleCare warranty. You would be dumb to buy almost any computer without an extensive warranty.
