- coudron, on 01/26/2008, -1/+28She said every computer part name relates to the human body. I wonder what she thinks a "floppy disk" is?
- Entheoddity, on 01/26/2008, -1/+24"Can you tell that to the people in the front of the line so we can move up?" Bravo kid, Bravo
- metapop, on 01/26/2008, -1/+24"10 examples of the iPhone making people crazy" is probably a bad headline. that lady was crazy wayy before she started spouting nonsense about the iPhone.
"i found it out in a desk!" is the best part. - Immune, on 01/26/2008, -2/+19Anyone notice the camera falling to her shirt half the time? Sick Bastards.

- calon9, on 01/26/2008, -1/+16god, the yelling rational guy was more annoying that the calmly irrational lady.
- cgm1985, on 01/26/2008, -0/+14You wont be laughing when the cdrom system falls down...

- lsteve13l, on 01/26/2008, -2/+11i wish my phone could seduce me...
- SSUK, on 01/26/2008, -0/+8Guys, read the actual article. It doesn't just revolve around the crazy lady in the YouTube video.
- Ireland, on 01/26/2008, -0/+8It's not just about the amount of diggs. It's about the amount of interest a story is getting and how quickly it's getting dugg, among other factors. Let's not have a "revolt" this time.
- alamandrax, on 01/26/2008, -0/+7Well played sir. Well played.
- d3c4y, on 01/26/2008, -1/+8Sarah Connor?
- FunkyWitDaSysTm, on 01/26/2008, -2/+8i am so tired of ppl whining about how digg isn't working the way they want it to. this isn't your site. if you don't like how it works, then go elsewhere.
- thedude42, on 01/26/2008, -0/+6Yes, the other 9 examples are far more uninteresting. Ultimately, the crazy lady coming through from the Matrix to tell iPhone users to free their mind (surprised she didn't call them "coppertop") was the only example I could consider a person being qualified as "crazy".
Maybe a more accurate article headline would be "iPhone makes at least 9 people stupid and willing to waste away valuable time in their life, and at least one person certifiably insane". Not too catchy a title though. - SlappyBag, on 01/26/2008, -3/+9Wtf? How do most of these names relate to the human body? Like HDD? "Oh yeah, I was kicked in my hard drive the other day."
Gawd.
But yeah, in the end if everything goes down then we're ***** =P - chromerium, on 01/26/2008, -1/+7Conspiracy theories usually fall down when you realise that you need a significant number of people in society to be 'in' on it for it to function.
- imapluralist, on 01/26/2008, -10/+1527 diggs on front page?
- FunkyWitDaSysTm, on 01/26/2008, -0/+5oh, crap. now she's in this thread! SAVE YOUR BRAAAAAAAIIIIIIIINNNNNNSSSSS!!
- RubberBinder, on 01/26/2008, -0/+5I have a feeling that you're about to get a whole lot of spam.
- Snakedal337, on 01/26/2008, -0/+5Dugg just for the video, screw the photos
- inactive, on 01/26/2008, -0/+4Yeah, heaven forbid people concentrate on the big ass video directly underneath the headline
- Ireland, on 01/26/2008, -0/+4LOL, I meant 2:28 :P
"I might look insane right now" - yeah that's because you are. - digitalarcanum, on 01/26/2008, -0/+4hehe, hard disk.
- GreySpec, on 01/26/2008, -0/+4It is already happening: Refer to articles concerning sex with robots
- GreySpec, on 01/26/2008, -0/+4LMAO, true true... Anyways, i like the new digg system, you see new stuff!
- inactive, on 01/26/2008, -0/+4Once we all have gigabit connections to the intarweb, I'll agree with you. But, as the old saying goes: Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway.
- ohhoe, on 01/26/2008, -3/+6RTFA* (read the ***** article)
*the article is funny. - nitriletiger, on 01/26/2008, -1/+4woot my video made it on gizmodo (:
there is a part two and three which happen to be a lot better... - wipis, on 01/26/2008, -2/+5This womans crazy rantings are probably being taken out of context because a large portion of the conversation was not caught on camera and the recording isn't very good.
Crazy though she may be, she might actually be making a good point. Is the easy access to information going to make our brains lazy? It used to be if you wanted to know the capital of Sudan you had to remember it yourself of ask someone who knew. Or god forbid go all the way to a library and look it up. Even with the internet you had to go to a computer and look it up. Now the iPhone puts it all in your palm. With things like the iPhone whats the point of being smart? You can just look it up. Your brain has a seemingly endless capacity to learn and if you learn and think about what you learn you can actually make connections and learn more new things without having to look it up. But on the other hand because it makes information easier to get to all the time perhaps it is increasing what we learn without making us intellectually lazy. All I know is I don't have one so until then I'm going to have to remember who played Zed in men in black (Rip Torn) and the capital of Pennsylvania (Harrisburg) with my brain. - hmunkey, on 01/26/2008, -0/+3I signed him up for dozens of porn sites. Let that be a lesson, never advertise your email on Digg.
- Ireland, on 01/26/2008, -6/+91:28 in that vid = Hehehe!! :D
- FunkyWitDaSysTm, on 01/26/2008, -0/+3OMG!?!!!11 TEH APPLZ ARE KILLIN UR CD-ROMZ!!!11
in al seriousness, though, although i don't care for the macbook air, i say let optical media die. physical media seems like too much of a restriction to me. i need more versatility from my storage media, and i believe the world at large would benefit from that kind of freedom. but that's just me. - Hefelumpman, on 01/26/2008, -0/+3Dugg for Dune ref :D
- mogebier, on 01/27/2008, -0/+3Yeah, we all know. It sent us pictures.
