- ncairns, on 03/10/2008, -9/+6See, the problem is that just saying that doesn't make it so.
Watch: I am still a contender for the Republican Party's 2008 presidential nomination.
But actually I'm not. Like Ron Paul.- billyjack1958, on 03/10/2008, -4/+5hmmmmmm.....do you like to eat crow?
Rom Paul IS a contender in the 2008 Presidential Election.
ncairns? not so much......- vault, on 03/10/2008, -7/+4If he has no chance of winning and McCain is virtually guaranteed to get the nomination, do the semantics REALLY make a difference at this point?
You don't always get your way in a free country. Get over it. - ssn697, on 03/11/2008, -5/+3Yeah, he is still a contender, and I am only 14 delegates behind him...
- ncairns, on 03/11/2008, -4/+4No. He isn't. Mostly because John McCain already won the nomination.
In parallel terms, I have exactly the same chance of taking the Republican nomination as Ron Paul does - zero.- thrasha420, on 03/11/2008, -2/+4exactly the same chance? funny, i didn't see you on CNN today...
the man even said it himself... its unlikely that he will be the nominee, but the nomination is still technically about six months away... there is no reason for him to 'quit' until then...- ncairns, on 03/11/2008, -1/+3Yes, exactly the same chance. My presence or absence on CNN has absolutely nothing to do with it. John McCain is the Republican nominee. It is mathematically and logically impossible - not just 'unlikely' - for Ron Paul to win the nomination, in exactly the same way it is for me to do so.
I don't see what's so complicated about this. But, then, I don't suck at math.

- amazindyes, on 03/10/2008, -2/+9Unlike all the rest, Dr. Paul is a man of his word. He said he would stay in the race, and he will. A lot will happen between now and September/November, and Dr. Paul is the only one who has the solutions. The whole world is counting on us to somehow get him into the White House. We must not fail in our mission. If we fail, all is lost. The world is watching and waiting. Surrender is not an option. McManiac is totally unfit to be President. As are Billary and Obomba. Ron Paul is the only one who deserves our support. If he is not on the ballot, we should all write him in. To vote for any other candidate is to acquiesce to the status quo. Want a continuation of the Bush regime (or worse, if that's possible)? Vote for Billary, Obomba or McNut. Want real, meaningful change that will save our country? Vote for Ron Paul.
- MCBAIKO, on 03/10/2008, -2/+8I believe in LIBERTY! I believe in TRUTH! I believe in FREEDOM! I believe in Ron Paul!
Please continue to support the good Doctor and all that he represents!- billyjack1958, on 03/10/2008, -2/+7Amen! and Blessed Be! and allllllllll of that! I will vote for Ron Paul No Matter What.
