  • txmaverickgirl, on 07/19/2008, -0/+2I write letters to congressmen, senators, Nancy Pelosi, the white house, & various government run agencies FREQUENTLY. My letters are professional & courteous.....YET, I get responses to fewer than half. When I do get a response it is normally a standardized letter that does not address the issues of my letter specifically. I know they are standardized because I have multiple copies of the same letter sent in response to completely different subjects I have written about. It doesn't seem from my experience that many people in our government really care what the citizens have to say. Anyone else get this feeling?
