Surge meets purge
politico.com — The McCain camaign is poking fun at Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) for a report in today's New York Daily News that he had cleansed BarackObama.com of past criticism of the surge strategy in Iraq. "BARACK OBAMA "REFINING" IRAQ POSITION ON OWN WEBSITE," blares the McCain release, which helpfully links to the former versions of the site.......>>

- BadgerDigger, on 09/04/2008, -0/+2This is sort of like the weather in a number of places.

- rellimyerffej, on 07/15/2008, -0/+8Obama - "You mean to tell me Bush's strategy is achieving results?" Staffer - "Yes, sir." Obama - "But I staked a position that rode on the failure of the US military!" Staffer - "Yes, sir." Obama - "And you're sure they're succeeding?" Staffer - "Yes, sir." Obama - "Woopsey daisy!" Staffer - "Yes, sir."
LMFAO - mnocket, on 07/15/2008, -1/+3Who knows... the way Obama's "beliefs" are continually changing, I may wind up having to vote for him. I wonder what his grass roots supporters are going to do if his positions keep changing to the point where he appeals to conservatives? Talk about winning the battle but losing the war!
- BadgerDigger, on 09/04/2008, -0/+2This would be Obama's biggest flip flop. Probably worth putting into the Guinness Book of Word Records as Greatest flip flop of all time - Liberal becomes a Conservative.
- spankaccount, on 07/15/2008, -0/+8CHANGE you can believe in...
- mustangmike53, on 07/16/2008, -0/+5I just had two visuals - one was Obama replacing Kerry in the blue Teletubbie suit - Obama's face would fit in there nicely. The other was the Kerry windsurfing flip flop ad that used reversed images of Kerry windsurfing, first from the right, then from the left. A) That was a GREAT ad, and B) WTF was Kerry thinking when he went windsurfing? Way to appeal to the masses, John!
- Argentian, on 07/16/2008, -0/+3Then you had that complete prostitute, Bill Richardson, Dem of New Mex, defending the changes on the website as nothing more than 'updating.' Sorry to give prostitutes a bad name, but it's hard to think of this gross individual in any other term that fits as well.
