- cashman57, on 10/17/2007, -3/+46I just wish someone would have enough drive to prove that what happened after the debate was NOT a massive show of support for the candidate that won the debate.
They make these allegations as if they had some merit or credibility but when it comes to proof they are woefully lacking.
I wonder what they plan to do when he wins the primary by a lanslide?- reed311, on 10/17/2007, -27/+7"I wonder what they plan to do when he wins the primary by a lanslide?"

We are not backing down. We come from all paths of life. We don't agree with Dr. Paul on everything, we don't agree with each other everything. We don't care about labels, Republican, Democrat, Conservative, Liberal, Libertarian or any other. First and foremost, we are Americans and it is our time to be heard. We are tired, we are piss off, we have a lot people, we are motivated, we are inspired, we have money and we want our country back.- mrgreenjeans, on 10/17/2007, -0/+2What will happen, I fear, is that they will say the primaries were hacked.
- theelectricafro, on 10/17/2007, -1/+30The Digg community knows this propaganda is not true. Yesterday a Ron Paul Story got over 11,000 Diggs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FG2PUZoukfA Is Digg.com real? Or is it a Conspiracy? Is this smear campaign a direct attack on Digg? You decide by voting for this story.

- xdream, on 10/18/2007, -0/+33 my letter to that ***** peice of ***** Allen Bastard:
While I can appreciate your sentiment about the Presidential Polling, you're not taking into consideration a few facts:
1) There is only one vote per IP address.
2) As a show of hands, the other candidates supporters can vote also, unless they don't have support.
3) You're saying that only Ron Paul supporters can hack sites. So, only Ron Paul supporters are dishonest? That is irresponsible in the least.
As far as ruining the purpose of the poll, it was a very honest showing of hands. If any other candidate had supporters other than the so-called "scientific" polling shows, they could have voted also. The fact is that the scientific polling by media owned groups can be skewed depending upon the collection, the analysis, or the interpretation. Plus, it would be nice to know WHO was doing the polling and what their "scientific" criteria was. A "random sampling" may or may not be representative of ALL registered voters. Plus, voters can very easily be influenced by the media... and the media is influenced by the MONEY... And guess who gets the money when candidates buy ad space? That's right. You guys.
If there are 100,000 voters, and 68,000 of them are Ron Paul supporters, as there are on his MySpace page, then it's obvious he is going to get 68% of the vote. And until you can prove that your site was hacked, I would stop the false accusations. Ron Paul received 5.1 million dollars this quarter, and the average donation was $40. That, plus or minus some, equals 125,000 people. I'm sorry, Sir, but the other candidates WISH they had that kind of support. Did they "hack" the donation system? I think not.
And as far as you taking down the poll, your decision is based on a faulty premise. Your censorship is biased and obviously driven by your collectivist philosophy. You assume that there were only "few". However, as I've proved above, you are wrong in your assumptions.
Your real problem is that when the people start questioning the so-called "authorities" and "corporate media" methods of polling, you quickly react in fear.
You will see hundreds of thousands at the polls this coming primary. The only way Ron Paul can't win is when diebold machines are "hacked" into. When that happened in Florida to Kerry, your voice was strangely silent.
Who are the hacks?
I, as a staunch right wing Christian conservative Republican, am disgusted and ashamed of what our media has become.

- kayaker712, on 10/16/2007, -0/+12The so-called "scientific polls" chose the respondents by what they call "likely voters"
As I have said before, their idea of a "likely voter" is probably not correct anyway. Statistical sampling by random may be accurate in your target group but how do you define that target group accurately?
Well the polls ask registered Republicans who voted in the last primary which usually means they voted Republican. So what the pollsters are doing s identifying a group of Bush supporters and asking who they would support. It should be no surprise what the answer is. the real question is do registered republican who voters R in the last primary representative of the entire voting population? No very likely in this case. This is shown historically by all the pre-primary polls in the past.
Ignore the polls and listen to what the media is saying. They know what is going on even if they deliberately fail to report it. If Ron had no chance they would silent.
They are scared, very scared. - 2trkpony, on 10/16/2007, -0/+5nice one xdream...tho I wouldn't hold my breath awaiting his 'reply'...Your letter should be duly forwarded to the typical corporate media info-tainment 'news' outlets..

- ZZeke, on 10/17/2007, -0/+2xdream, great comment...
but do you have to mix your religion with politics? It really makes you look hypocritical..."staunch right wing Christian conservative Republicans" have been and continue to be one of the most distortionist groups ever involved in our political process. It is in the very churches you worship in that the lies of the Bush administration have been disseminated as gospel. Christian churches around the country are guilty of promoting war in the middle east as a "holy war" which is not only deemed necessary but also somehow glorious. You should take the separation of church and state more seriously, like Ron Paul does. You are absolutely entitled to your beliefs, but when you bring them into our collective political process, it cheapens and weakens both the church and state, and alienates non-believers like me immediately. Paul is also a christian conservative, but I haven't heard him identify himself as such since the campaigning started. In fact, when questioned about it, he clearly states that his belief in the separation of church and state is more important to him than identifying himself as a "christian candidate". When questioned about abortion, he states that it is his christian belief that it is wrong, but he would make no move on behalf of the federal government to stop it, because it is clearly a state's issue as set forth in the constitution.
While I believe that you have the right idea about the issue at hand here, and I believe you are backing the right candidate, I can't help but wonder and worry what exactly a "staunch right-wing christian conservative" hopes to get out of a Paul presidency. Please try not to take it too personally - for all I know, I'm jumping to conclusions about you, you might believe in the same kind of strict constitutionalism that Paul represents - but the label you give yourself puts you in some pretty dangerous company. For starters "right-wing" and "conservative" are no longer one and the same - for example: Bush and his neo-con syndicate are certainly considered "right-wing", and he ran on a "conservative" platform...but we all know by now that his version of "right-wing" has absolutely NOTHING to do with "conservativism". At this point, I don't think it's possible to be "right-wing" and "conservative" at the same time - a true "conservative" could never support the current "right-wing" politicians and policies, and vice-versa. "Left-right" itself is just a means by which the government keeps us at each other's throats, bickering over non-issues like abortion and gay marriage, instead of organizing together to prevent things like NAFTA, CAFTA, the NAFTA superhighway, war in Iraq (and now potentially Iran), etc, etc, etc.
I agree with your comment, but I don't understand why you would label yourself as such. maybe you can spell it out for me, give me some info on your point of view, why you would place yourself in such company as Dobson, et al, when it has become abundantly clear that such groups have supported the illegal Bush-Cheney agenda since day one, and continue to.

- jcm267, on 10/17/2007, -10/+3I base my opinion on polling data. Ron Paul's negatives with both Republicans and moderates were off the charts.
As far as I can tell, the more people hear Ron Paul speak the more they are turned off.

- LalW, on 10/17/2007, -0/+23How much longer are these pieces of filth going to continue with these covert propanda-style psy ops? Do these people REALLY think the American populace is *that* gullible? I'm sending a letter to this agent of the Establishment today letting him know that I am hip to his psychological operation. And I encourage others to do the same, citing the strong evidence showing that Ron Paul's popularity is NOT based on a clever conspiracy, but on the message of freedom and responsibility he advocates.
If any damned conspiracy exists (which he implied by his allegations), it is the one to keep RP out of the public eye by marginalizing his campaign and his message.
There is something good about this though. It shows the Establishment is scared ***** by Doc No's campaign. Otherwise they wouldn't be trying so hard to knock him outta the box. This also shows OUR success at getting him there!
KEEP IT UP, people! KEEP IT UP!!
RON PAUL REVOLUTION ON THE ATTACK!- xdream, on 10/16/2007, -0/+10HELL YA! They are running scared, and we're growing exponentially! Here we come! And if only the TV-'news' media was half as critical, investigative & analytical of the US govt. sponsored 9-11 false flag terror event.
Whoops, almost forgot - corporate media's "job" & function is to run interference, distraction. Keep us separated, divided, instill more fear uncertainty & doubt - as the true criminals get away with their world-***** lies, tricks, deceit & murder on the grandest of scales.
