- Sematary, on 11/11/2007, -0/+31Hi there,
My name is Bob Larkin and I'm working with the meetups in Philadelphia to put on the biggest, baddest rally of the year in Philadelphia on November 10, 2007. The date is all set. Ron Paul will be there. The place is Independence Mall (lots of historical significance there, since it is the signing place of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Also of significance is the fact that it is veterans weekend and the campaign is rolling out a new initiative having to do with veterans and there is also a veterans group doing something in the lot right next to this rally. This is a tremendous opportunity to get national media attention for the campaign and I am asking everyone to contact as many people through meetup as they can to come and participate in the rally. Projected times are currently 12-4 in the afternoon but that could change depending on how many other speakers are there. Anyway, your help in spreading the word would be much appreciated. There is an UN-official website at http://Philly.ronpaulrally.org that is serving as a clearing station for information on the rally and I am also asking people to DIGG the rally to help get it more attention here: http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Ro...vember_10_2 ...
If you could email this to all of your members and to the members of any other groups you belong to, it would be much appreciated. You can also find more information at http://www.ronpaulforums.com
Please email this message, as is, to all your members and let viral marketing do it's thing. Thankyou for your support of Ron Paul and for helping to make this Rally absolutely HUGE!!! - Proximity, on 11/09/2007, -1/+14Nice. I'll head down there. I live like 15 blocks from there.
- Sematary, on 11/11/2007, -0/+11Bring friends! Lots of them!

- terlinguatx, on 11/09/2007, -0/+16This is the rally to go to people. Imagine the other rallys you've seen on youtube, and think of the energy and excitement: 2000 at the university of michigan, 500 at new york grand central. Well I tell you that this one in Philly will be the grandaddy of them all. I'm roadtripping across the country from TEXAS just to be there. Mark it on your calendars folks cus we're going to make history.
- brettrix, on 11/09/2007, -0/+11Independance Hall! awesome!
- suzuko804, on 11/09/2007, -3/+4The spelling is "rallies" not "rally's".

- Gene1200, on 11/09/2007, -0/+2Maybe you can bring a few Canadians with you. If they're willing to travel for hockey playoffs, they should be willing to travel for Ron Paul. ;)
- scudiac, on 11/09/2007, -0/+9great job! keep it up! go ron paul!
- PeaceOfTruth, on 11/09/2007, -1/+9This is a great way not only to support Ron Paul and our revolution, but also to meet other supporters! I think Ron Paul supporters are some of the most creative, interesting, alive people on earth!
- jaybone62, on 11/09/2007, -0/+7Philly is a great town, and can be done on the cheap.
Hotel rooms in the university/hospital section of town can be had for under $80 on priceline, from there you can pick up the septa train right downtown for a couple of bucks. If you have never been before, dont be dissuaded, compared to NYC it is a breeze, cheaper too, you can actually DRIVE places and park without paying a small fortune.
You may have heard the "Killadephia" news stories about the high murder rate, all I can say is if you stick to the downtown, university/hospital districts you will be quite safe, especially with thousands of patriots watching your back.
My point is, just do it, get to Philly, it can be done for less $ and effort than you may think! - Orwig, on 11/09/2007, -0/+6Don't just show up, bring your friends and family too. Make sure they are all registered Republican whether that's their party affiliation or not, no matter, they can change it back after they vote in the Primary. Without their vote, this all comes to an end.
- chiefsmurph, on 11/09/2007, -0/+6I'm flying from CA! Everyone should make an effort to be there. Even if it means flying. Its gonna be awesome.
- dndbricks, on 11/09/2007, -0/+7Driving From Central Ohio - I will be the guy with the Ron Paul T-shirt on...... LOL
- isrow, on 11/09/2007, -0/+6Coming from Pittsburgh with a couple car loads.

- kentmur, on 11/09/2007, -0/+5It really made me feel dirty to register Republican; but I did it and so can you. It's easy and it's the only way to get Ron Paul elected. I can't wait to unregister the day after I cast my vote in the primary. See you in Philly!
- shadekeiko, on 11/10/2007, -0/+6Count me in! I'm so glad he's coming to Philly, since I live in the suburbs already (R5 FTW). :D This is going to be my first rally. How exciting.
- Mandrik, on 11/10/2007, -0/+4I took the day off and am anxiously awaiting RP to show up in Philly. We're going to have a blast!
- Captainshays, on 11/09/2007, -0/+3If you can't find anything in Philly proper your best bet is to stay in South Jersey. Cherry Hill has the Crown Plaza, and the Holiday Inn. Pennsauken has Howard Johnson. Mt Laurel has every major chain. For transportation to S Jersey call Rapid Rover. Their number is (856) 428 1500. Or simply pick up the red phone at the ground transportation dest at the airport and dial #21. It gets you directly to their dispatch. To ANY of the hotels in S Jersey the fair is $20 per adult and $8 per child under 12 yrs old.
Tell them Croce sent you. - runderwo, on 11/09/2007, -0/+2http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=dBjFsj_2beVw ...
