- LordSkywalker, on 12/12/2007, -0/+48Awesome. You can just feel it. The Tea Party, the blimp, the straw polls, etc. Paul is going to hit MSM in the next few weeks and by mid to late January, will be past Huckabee, taking over as the front runner for the Republican nomination. I've already given the Ron Paul DVD to a few dozen people, the majority of which come back to thank me and let me know they're voting for him now.
I just wonder if MSM will downplay this. Alaska isn't continental US, they don't matter? Paul voters brought in via drop ships?- darkcooger, on 12/12/2007, -1/+9I suspect rather than downplay it, they'll just ignore it.
- captoftheworld, on 12/12/2007, -0/+6Good luck to them! lol
- edwardphoenix, on 12/19/2007, -0/+2Can't ignore something with this much support, man.
- darkcooger, on 12/12/2007, -1/+9I suspect rather than downplay it, they'll just ignore it.
- JlmAWP, on 12/12/2007, -0/+18MSM will play him down even if he was Jesus. And then they'd spin it in Huckabee's favor cuz, y'know, Jesus.
- Shabow, on 12/12/2007, -2/+19Alaska has the internetz?!
- Bluecollarron, on 12/12/2007, -0/+5sometimes it's too cold in our igloos for a computer to operate.
- nygrissplz, on 12/12/2007, -0/+6Actually they'd operate more efficiently
- dictum, on 12/14/2007, -0/+1ignorant. of course they have them! they just need to insulate the tubes against the winters, its not like the internet is some dump truck that can just drive up there all year round!

- MLyzz, on 12/12/2007, -0/+9I am not surprised. They couldn't get Gravel in there, but being that RP is a Texan he has some might. Go Blimp! Go!
- missingalaska, on 12/12/2007, -0/+14Go fellow Alaskans Go! I'll be at meetup soon.
- Bluecollarron, on 12/12/2007, -0/+14 I am the 'assistant organizer' for the Ron Paul Fairbanks Group (yea, second largest city in AK). I have always known Alaskans donated 1,000 x more to Ron Paul then any other candidate, but i am very excited to know that ron paul is also winning in the polls. Keep up the good work Anchorage!
- NSResponder, on 12/13/2007, -0/+9You Alaskans have a reputation of not being too big on other people telling you what to do. Guess that fits in with Ron Paul's message. ;-)

- johnamus, on 12/12/2007, -0/+16Some Ron Paul supporters have argued that telephone polls are flawed due to the exclusion of cellphone-only households not counted in polls since they can't be reached on a land line. Could Alaska, notorious for bad cell service and home to a greater percentage of land line subscribers, prove that these supporters are correct?
- brentsanders, on 12/12/2007, -0/+9Very good point.
- morgino, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1morgino
- kurros, on 12/13/2007, -0/+4This wasn't a telephone poll, it was an online web poll on their news website.
- Bluecollarron, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1That was there error.. the internet!
- brentsanders, on 12/12/2007, -0/+9Very good point.
- sratiug, on 12/12/2007, -0/+8Great news!!! Keep up the great work everybody! Ron Paul 2008!
- Boggie08, on 12/13/2007, -0/+9I think we are going to hit critical mass soon. We need to have more events, so that we can reach more people. This is crunch time guys.
- JeffDaiell, on 12/13/2007, -0/+13 From a T-shirt popular among Libertarians in the late 1970s and early 1980s: "Alaska -- Home of the Individual and Other Endangered Species"
Jeff Daiell - juankovo, on 12/13/2007, -0/+6The original article says that this is an unscientific poll (as if all of the "scientific" ones were any more accurate), so don't start celebrating just yet. We've still got lots of work to do!
- theskyisblue, on 01/05/2008, -0/+1they have to make it "scientific," as opposed to just asking random people who they would vote for on the streets and random phone book calls... didnt u know? =)
- OnGard4Liberty, on 12/16/2007, -0/+8"I am a friend of the Free State Project! Check it out...and if you like it, join and continue the effort!" -- Rep. Ron Paul
http://www.freestateproject.org/intro/ron_paul - edwardphoenix, on 12/19/2007, -0/+6Hellz yeah. Ron Paul is picking up a lot of speed. If we all keep up the great work, he's set to win this thing.
- spazam2, on 12/28/2007, -0/+3This is probably just the tip of the iceberg.
- Daldreg, on 12/31/2007, -0/+3I see what you did there :P
- Colten, on 01/01/2008, -0/+2Alaska rocks
- wasaka, on 01/05/2008, -0/+3I lived in Alaska for 10 years, now in Las Vegas -- PAUL A PALOOZA January 12th, 2008 - This is a supporter-bomb. Instead of donations, we are going to import Ron Paul supporters into Las Vegas by the thousands. Events will kick off Saturday, at around noon with the biggest Ron Paul march ever. It will be on the Las Vegas Strip. Saturday night will be an evening of fun-filled entertainment. Ron Paul will me in Las Vegas for the debate on the 14th (or 16th) and we hope he can get here a day to two early and help us win the state of Nevada and claim a large number of the 34 delegate that up for grabs!
