- click2lose, on 07/31/2008, -0/+1Brilliant article - it's so good that we have the independent Internet so that we can get things placed in the correct, unbiased perspectives. One thing that we need to look out for is the 50 percent computerized voting that does not allow for a re-count. This is a much better way to cheat than the way it was done in Bush vs. Gore instance - this time it will be programmers not the Supreme Court so watch out.
Obama is arrogant, elitist (a black man elitist, that's an oxymoron), Harvard grad - aren't these the qualities that were once given as prerequisites for the top post. Obama knows his place alright, he's a proud American like McCain, Bush, Regan and all of us that deserves and has earned his place at the table and on our planet - the one that is on loan to us.
Obama advocates change of the way we do business, change our cars to run on renewable fuels, change to renewable sources of energy, give our young people new opportunities, switch to graduating more researchers, scientists, educators, inventors, entrepreneurs and Americans with more hope and re-gain our envied position amongst world powers. We are tired of fighting expensive wars in other countries only to lose our lives for no good cause so we want change desperately.
Don't forget that we are all living here on borrowed time so let's not waste it - please do something meaningful. - trestevenson, on 08/01/2008, -0/+0He had a few good quotables in here, such as:
"American voters may not be taken in again and that they may actually enjoy as president someone who isn't an inbred moron or a senile fratboy"
A little below the belt, yeah. Funny nonetheless? Absolutely!
