nypost.com — WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.

So even if this story is true, and the past history of the author implies it is not, it is consistent with Obama's past position that we should not agree to keep troops in Iraq indefinitely.

There were many replies expressing shock that an article critical of Obama could make it that far, but it quickly disappeared when the page refreshed.
