Hey, all you Obama-worshippers, your god is a two-faced, FALSE god!
Obama - the typical dirty politician!
Obama - the liar!
Obama - the traitor!- swrostmore, on 09/15/2008, -1/+4The Status of Forces agreement is an agreement to KEEP US TROOPS IN IRAQ past the date that the UN mandates they leave. So even if this story is true, and the past history of the author implies it is not, it is consistent with Obama's past position that we should not agree to keep troops in Iraq indefinitely.
- Endubs77, on 09/15/2008, -4/+10this will never make Diggs front page
- OuijaCat, on 09/15/2008, -2/+5Actually this story WAS on the Front Page (at least, it appeared in the "Super-Digg" gadget on my iGoogle page), at about 3:15CT. There were many replies expressing shock that an article critical of Obama could make it that far, but it quickly disappeared when the page refreshed.
- wardawg31, on 09/17/2008, -0/+6That was the Digg staff taking it down. I think this one got through their liberal filtering algorithm.
Oops. I am so going to be banned now....

- davenp35, on 09/15/2008, -2/+9Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent (or resistance) to lawful authority. Sedition may include any commotion, though not aimed at direct and open violence against the laws. During World War I the Espionage Act (1917) and the Sedition Act (1918) punished speeches and writings that interfered with the war effort...Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent (or resistance) to lawful authority. Itis clearly illegal to negotiate with a government (the Logan Act) when not authorized to do so. Sedition usually involves actually conspiring to disrupt the legal operation of the government and beyond expression of an opinion or protesting government policy.
- falstaff, on 09/15/2008, -4/+13If this is true, he's prepared to delay troop reductions so he can take the credit.
Talk about playing politics with the lives of the troops. I don't know how much of the story is true and how much is spin, but even if it's not his intention to put them in harm's way longer than necessary, that is the end result, and it's disgusting.- LafayetteAve, on 09/15/2008, -1/+7Democrats accused Reagan of doing this with the Iranian hostages so now they are doing the same to our GIs in Iraq.
- swrostmore, on 09/15/2008, -6/+7The story is also on Fox News
http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/09/15/report-oba ... - bbear, on 09/15/2008, -9/+4Unfortunately the Fox News article credits the NY Post with that story. The NY Post is New Yorks version of the National Enquirer. A source other than the NY Post needs to be used for this story before it can be trusted to be true.
- InRussetShadows, on 09/17/2008, -0/+4Because you say so. Ok, right.
- th4k1dd, on 09/15/2008, -3/+5and of course it never will because the main stream media is in his back pocket. ahh, just a normal election year as always. this country needs to seriously eliminate this two party ***** that this country has come to.
wonder on a side note if the media/O campaign has a digg group that makes sure only negative mccain stuff gets to the front page. i don't buy most of this, but seriously, dailykos? why don't you throw rush limbaugh up there too..credibility? i think half of the political people on here are wackos of the far left. digg should address this. digg is too awesome of an idea for it to turn into a leftist machine for its own spin...oh, wait, too late! - jabberwolff, on 09/15/2008, -3/+8HMM
If these facts are true, and the quotes verified by foreign officials and other people, will the libertard still believe Obama that everyone else is lying?!!
Obamatards are under such hypnosis, I dont even think catching Obama with a bloody knife, used gloves and a dead chick, would convince them he's a murder ! (yes it's an O.J. reference)
Basically when is BS and hype going to fade from idiot's minds so they can see FACTS! - wardawg31, on 09/17/2008, -1/+7FTA: Iraqi leaders are divided over the US election. Iraqi President Jalal Talabani (whose party is a member of the Socialist International) sees Obama as "a man of the Left" - who, once elected, might change his opposition to Iraq's liberation. Indeed, say Talabani's advisers, a President Obama might be tempted to appropriate the victory that America has already won in Iraq by claiming that his intervention transformed failure into success.
- DLA1, on 09/17/2008, -0/+6Obama is criminal in his actions here.
People are beginning to see that this guy is way worse than just an empty suit.
How dare he play our troops for his political gain. He didn't even stop to visit them in the hospital in Germany! - DCdownsizer, on 09/17/2008, -0/+2A clear violation of the Logan Act, which makes it a FELONY to negotiate with a foreign government on behalf of the United States without authorization! The Obama campaign, in attempting to refute the charges, confirmed them! According to his spokesperson Wendy Morigi, Obama had told the Iraqis that they "should not rush through a "Strategic Framework Agreement" governing the future of US forces until after President George W. Bush leaves office." http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5hi9TDNHvuBZpFs ... Obama is trying to keep the troops from coming home to keep the war alive as a campaign issue! Shameful!
