Huff Post: McCain Still Failing To Close With GOP Voters
huffingtonpost.com — "McCain Can't Close the Deal." If the mainstream media were truly being evenhanded, that's the headline that would appear in newspapers and news magazines around the country. McCain should be equally concerned about whether Ron Paul's supporters will stay within the Republican fold in November.

- mozarker, on 05/14/2008, -1/+2The MSM are showing their liberal leaning. They want McCain to be the nominee because they know that either Democrat will beat him. The gloves won't come off until after the Republican national convention.
- madfrogurt, on 05/14/2008, -3/+1It's a shame that McCain can only come up with 50 times as many delegates as St. Paul. It's very telling how he was only able to nearly 3 times as many delegates as every other candidate combined. Obviously McCain has no support at all, and the Anointed One will be able to steal the candidacy with ease, as all Republicans everywhere finally renounce their evil ways and see the joys of industrial revolution era governing.
- dmh11686, on 05/14/2008, -2/+1This is BS, McCain doesn't have to worry about anything at this point. He is getting about the same amount of votes Bush received in 2000. Hell, Alan Keyes was performing better than Ron Paul at this point in the race. And in this race a lot of republicans are staying home or voting in the dem primary because they know McCain already has the race locked up.
