Hillary is destroying us - Finance Dir. of Dem. Candidate
americablog.com — "I got home tonight from my job as finance director for a top-tier Democratic Congressional challenger and read your post regarding the negative impact of Hillary's staying in the race upon our Congressional candidates' fundraising. I can say definitively that what you wrote is absolutely true."

- tcbishop12, on 05/09/2008, -9/+77Clinton is staying in on account of her "own vanity and narcissism" and for "the worst possible reasons," such as that a new "bogeyman" may break Obama down the stretch. Clinton's new racist argument for her candidacy in today's USA Today interview should end her candidacy this week. In the interview, she said her base of her “white support” is larger and "Sen. Obama's support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again." This is exactly the type of statement that should drive more supers toward Obama pretty quickly," as they don't want Hillary Clinton to spend the next three weeks making a vile, evil, Jim Crow era racist case that Obama can't win.
If the supers are smart they will close this out now before Hillary gets another chance to "microwave the party's fundraising bunny" (and yes, that is a Glenn Close, "Fatal Attraction" reference).- bullcutter, on 05/09/2008, -3/+16Up until yesterday, the conservatives were the only ones bringing up the issue of Obama's race.
But what they and the Hillary camp fail to realize is that most of the truly racist people who would not vote for Barack due to the color of his skin (or because its been brainwashed into them that he's a Muslim) are Republicans -- people that have decided Barack is a racist who hates America because they've heard it on the radio so many times -- so there's no votes being lost here in the general election.
Everybody who agrees with Barack on the issues that actually matter is going to vote for him in November.
Anybody who really wants to end the war (the majority of the country if I'm not mistaken) will vote for Obama instead of John "100 Years" McCain.
Millions of people will come out to vote for Obama for the first time as well, by far offsetting any racist Democrat demographic that Hillary or McCain is relying on for victory.- KingGoonie, on 05/09/2008, -18/+3Um.. according to Polls Obama will not beat McCain... Hillary will.
And remember the "youth vote" that was going to come out in huge force to help Al Gore win? Where were they? Same place Obama's youth vote will be.
MAKE OBAMA THE CANDIDATE AND DESTROY THE NATION!- boot20, on 05/09/2008, -3/+9Please post these "polls."
- raitchison, on 05/09/2008, -0/+4Probably from the same people who claim that Obama is a Muslim.
- BadseedJR, on 05/09/2008, -3/+9What polls? You're a retard.
- mywhitenoise, on 05/09/2008, -1/+10Goonie has a tendency of pulling figures out of his ass...it's the only form of sexual pleasure he ever gets.
- elipabst, on 05/09/2008, -1/+6Which polls are these? Most of the mainstream polls show both Hillary and Obama over McCain:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/polls/
And that's before any of the McCain skeletons have been dragged out of the closet.- yojiffyskippy, on 05/09/2008, -3/+2It's closer than any poll would show right now because he isn't in the really in the rat-race yet. He's been trying to keep himself in the media but all of the focus has been on Obama and Hillary.
- bullcutter, on 05/09/2008, -1/+2Um.. according to WHICH poll?? and if you were right, why would Rush Limbaugh (and millions of other Republicans) want Hillary as the dem candidate instead of Obama? its because Hillary is already near crushed under the weight of her own hypocrisy and *****, and would by far be the more easily defeatable candidate in November.
"MAKE OBAMA THE CANDIDATE AND DESTROY THE NATION!"
But why am I even bothering with you, you're a ***** idiot. Now go back to your redneck militia compound.- yojiffyskippy, on 05/09/2008, -1/+2Rush doesn't necessarily want Hillary as the candidate. He knows she can't win the nomination but he wants her to stay in the race to further divide the Democratic party.
- bullcutter, on 05/09/2008, -1/+2He does want Hillary as the candidate. He wants Hillary as the president actually, because it would make for great talk radio, and he knows it.
You'd think the dickoheads would realize this and that their hero who came to fame ripping on Bill Clinton would seem a bit... oh... I dunno... COMPLETELY FULL OF ***** by telling his audience to support Hillary Clinton, but they are a bunch of easily-brainwashable retards who would forget their name if it wasn't tattoed on their arms, and would completely miss the irony of Rush putting a Clinton in office, so go figure...
- JoeVet, on 05/09/2008, -1/+4Um...according to the voting public, Clinton loses to Obama making the Clinton V McCain debate moot.
- ThinkIcouldburn, on 05/09/2008, -1/+2Wait......Al Gore didn't lose.
- boot20, on 05/09/2008, -3/+9Please post these "polls."
- OrangeCrush, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1If the general election was tomorrow, McCain has a good chance of winning based on the state-by-state polls from Elecotralvote.com, MyDD.com, etc.
But it's close. And many of these polls are after the Rev. Wright debacle so Obama's probably at his lowest point in recent months. Consider that a lot of Hillary's supporters will likely soften their views on him in the coming months, people are generally tired of hearing nothing but "ClintonObamaClintonObamaClintonObama!" and McCain has had virtually *NO* media scrutiny, the polls are virtually meaningless, IMHO.
It's a long way til November. A lot can and will happen. Let's see what happens after there've been a few McCain/Obama debates and the voters get a chance to take a good look at both of them side by side.
Then lets talk about what the polls say.
Hint: I don't think McCain's gonna do so hot.
- KingGoonie, on 05/09/2008, -18/+3Um.. according to Polls Obama will not beat McCain... Hillary will.
- chrissku, on 05/09/2008, -3/+7Obama will win the election in a landslide. Americans are ready for a new type of politics.
- yojiffyskippy, on 05/09/2008, -9/+3You're an idiot. He can't even get all the Dems voting for him. ASSume he gets half of the Hillary people to vote for him, that is still a long way from a win and miles from a "landslide".
- bullcutter, on 05/09/2008, -3/+3what the ***** are you talking about? he's winning the popular and delegate votes among Democrats. among a general population, he's going to crush McCain in November, no matter what the fat talk radio fags have brainwashed into you.
- Skooma714, on 05/10/2008, -1/+1A new type of politics?
Isn't it going to be just like the old one with a banana sticker on it?
- yojiffyskippy, on 05/09/2008, -9/+3You're an idiot. He can't even get all the Dems voting for him. ASSume he gets half of the Hillary people to vote for him, that is still a long way from a win and miles from a "landslide".

Yeah, and Obama is a selfless, self sacrificing saint.- bullcutter, on 05/09/2008, -1/+4relative to her, he most certainly is.
- TheSwashbuckler, on 05/09/2008, -5/+4Her "new" argument isn't racist, it's just a reflection of the polls.
- bullcutter, on 05/09/2008, -1/+5she took the opportunity to bring up Obama's race while ignoring the fact that no matter who the nominee is, Americans will vote Democrat if they want to end the war, which is (in case if everybody's forgotten) what the true issue of unity in America is, as more Americans want to see the war ended now more than ever before.
she isn't being racist per se, just a divisive bitch.
- kemp34, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3If Obama wins, Hillary's presidential aspirations are done. If McCain wins, she'd have a chance in 2012. She's staying in it and bashing Obama for purely selfish reasons. Is this not obvious?
- poxonyou, on 05/10/2008, -0/+2I think they're just ***** and vengeful. This was hers. She was Mrs. Inevitable. She's a Senator from New York. Her husband was the former POTUS. They had all the big connections in Washington and the lobbies . How could she lose? Then along comes this young buck and ruins her destiny. I doubt they're thinking 2012, they're just thinking about how ***** they are right now.
- canUdi9it, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1Both parties are corrupt. "I'll scratch your back, you scratch mine." The game is fixed. We've known that since Pelosi said "Impeachment is off the table". The Dems with their majority couldn't even slow down the illegal war, let alone put a stop to it.

- tara108, on 05/09/2008, -7/+58I myself think this every time that the DNC hits me up for donations..."when you announce that Obama is the candidate, my donations will be forth coming"...especially since the party fat cats all lined up behind Clinton. That was a real turn off!
- tcbishop12, on 05/09/2008, -3/+21I agree. Not a cent until then. You hear that Rep. Pelosi (when you said the race was still on yesterday)?
- Brownds, on 05/09/2008, -10/+4Why give them money at all? The'll just get it when they tax the hell out of us anyway.
- kipmartin, on 05/09/2008, -4/+4why, are you rich? if you arent, you need a democrat. if you are, you SHOULD be taxed!
youll find no siympathy here with us folks makingh under $125K per year!- briankoenig03, on 05/09/2008, -1/+2$125k a year isn't even a blip on the Bush radar. His tax cuts favored the $400k+ crowd MUCH more than the $125-$399k crowd.
- Brownds, on 05/09/2008, -3/+3 No I make about 85k a year (Aircraft Production Controller) and my wife makes around 52k (She is a Teacher) and honestly 125k a year is in now way rich anymore it is middle class. In California to maintain an average household you need to make around 120k a year. And this is a state ran by Democrats and has been for years so how do you figure I NEED democrats? If you feel You NEED a Democrat to make your life better then you are in pretty bad shape. Be it republican or democrat they don't give a rat’s ass about you, they will say whatever it takes to get elected, paid, and maintain power that is the way it works the only absolute is you need to watch out for yourself and not expect a Politian to come and wipe your ass for you. I am a registered independent and I support Obama because so far he is the only Politian that is being most honest about who he is, so you can't call me a Neocon and hide behind that. Here is a fact about rich people for you BTW
Directly from the US Treasury
The top 1% of earners pay 39.4% of all personal income taxes collected.
The top 5% of earners pay 59.7%% of all personal income taxes collected.
The top 10% of earners pay 70.3% of all personal income taxes collected.
Meanwhile, the bottom 50% of earners pay only 3% of all personal income taxes collected.
Yeah....those stinkin' rich people.....just not pulling their fair share, are they?- 4Prophecy, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3Now balance it against how much wealth they pull in, I'm not going to make any fair share judgments until you can prove they're actually paying higher taxes verses their income.
- 4Prophecy, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3Now balance it against how much wealth they pull in, I'm not going to make any fair share judgments until you can prove they're actually paying higher taxes verses their income.
- yojiffyskippy, on 05/09/2008, -0/+2Stop drinking the class-war Kool-aid. Neither party has a lock on over taxing.
- raitchison, on 05/09/2008, -1/+1Traditionally the Democrats have classed anyone who makes more than $50k as "rich"
- IslandDog, on 05/09/2008, -2/+1Why would I need a democrat if I'm not "rich"? Oh I forgot, democrats make you believe that your life will somehow become so much better with them in power. LOL.
- kipmartin, on 05/09/2008, -4/+4why, are you rich? if you arent, you need a democrat. if you are, you SHOULD be taxed!
- xen0blue, on 05/09/2008, -14/+3I have an idea, why don't you stop being so narrow minded and vote for a party other than democrat?
- nutsackorama, on 05/10/2008, -0/+0Oh hells yes! Who's the Whig candidate? And the Anti-Nebraska Party nominee?
- RRJackson, on 05/09/2008, -11/+2So the DNC should just announce a nominee even though there isn't a clear winner? Because with a spread of slightly over 2% this is still essentially a tied race.
- 5lack3r, on 05/09/2008, -1/+8Umm... No, it isn't "still essentially a tied race", nor has it been since super Tuesday.
It is now a very lopsided race... one in which one of the contestants has, quite literally, run out of track with which to make up their deficit. RRJackson - You MUST be a Hillary supporter to be going around blurting nonsense like this.- papipablo, on 05/09/2008, -0/+6RR is a McCain supporter pretending to be a Democrat.
- 5lack3r, on 05/09/2008, -1/+8Umm... No, it isn't "still essentially a tied race", nor has it been since super Tuesday.
- DarthDiabetes, on 05/09/2008, -2/+1I think the DNC needs to stay neutral until the delegate race is over. If they throw their weight behind one candidate or the other in any way, shape or form gives fodder to the losing nominee to sue the DNC or something like that. The winning nominee needs to go into the general election with all of the DNC's forces allied behind it. The DNC needs to stay quiet on this issue.
- goodnrg, on 05/09/2008, -6/+17Tara108, my sentiments exactly! We can't be the only Dems who feel this way. DNC, are you listening?

- elipabst, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1To be fair though, Gore intentionally tried to distance himself from Clinton. Remember that the 2000 election was about "bringing integrity back to the Whitehouse", so having Clinton as visible part of the campaign would have been considered a detriment.

So what do you think will happen if Obama wins and is the democractic candidate... and then in October oh well lookie here, whats this, a Youtube video of Wright making an extremely anti-american racist speech to his congregation with Obama standing up and cheering and clapping....
OBAMA WILL NOT WIN regardless of the above happening, and you know its VERY possible it will. VOTE HILLARY TO SAVE THE WORLD.- mywhitenoise, on 05/09/2008, -0/+13This is the first time I've seen you post a comment that wasn't about inaccurate ***** about video games, and incoherent ramblings about your personal life. That scenario is born out of your own delusions in order to support your disapproval of Obama. Well, lookie here, that is what you call "circular reasoning." - mithrasinvictus, on 05/09/2008, -0/+7Actually since Hillary threw everything she could at Obama i don't expect more to come. McCain will be forced to repeat Clinton (old news by then) or make up new lies.
On the other hand, Obama actually tried to run a civilized campaign. There's no telling what trash the republicans have lined up about Hillary or her husband.
- mywhitenoise, on 05/09/2008, -0/+13This is the first time I've seen you post a comment that wasn't about inaccurate ***** about video games, and incoherent ramblings about your personal life. You are hands down the most retarded digg user.
- zephc, on 05/09/2008, -0/+5I saw James Carvel live once, debating his wife, who is a Republican (how that marriage ever lasted I will never know). His wife was fairly articulate whereas he was pretty much all rhetoric, and was very underwhelming.

- bitfreak, on 05/09/2008, -4/+15I agree with Tara108. If the DNC would step up and make an announcement about Obama, I'll stop sending my money to him and send it to them. But they have to earn it.
- lolinyerface, on 05/09/2008, -2/+4Learn to hit reply. Another bot of Tara108.
- redcolumbine, on 05/09/2008, -3/+33Seriously. She's sabotaging the party itself so as to boost her chances for 2012, because she knows damn well four years of McCain will send even the staunchest Republicans screaming for the nearest exit. But after all her sleaze tactics and lawbreaking, there's no way on earth that she'll ever appeal to the voting public again. Waiting for another nutball to crawl out of the woodwork and claim to be Obama's best buddy is too long a shot for any sane person to bet even a nickel on, much less the future of America. She's flipped.
- KingGoonie, on 05/09/2008, -8/+1Who needs another nutball, just wait on the proof Obama agrees with everything this current one said.
- Flamancot, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1dude, even Hillary Clinton isn't arrogant enough to believe she will be presidentially electable after this election.
- drewX2, on 05/10/2008, -0/+0I beg to differ.
- londubh, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1She'd only sabotage out of spite. There's no way she could win if she a) pulled a Lieberman or b) ran in 2012. Hillary's goal is to steal the nomination at any cost and win the general. She had no plan B when she lost her inevitability and she has no exit strategy.

If you are not intelligent enough to comment on the absolute devotion this woman could have been spending in a spa or on a massage table, still Senator of New York. She was always too big for that job - you know it, and I know it. You need Hillary Clinton for the good of your country, so pick a side, or get out of the way.

- arbouler, on 05/09/2008, -10/+3at this point clinton should just stay in till the end of the primaries because you don't want obama to be embarrassed during the rest of the primaries because her voters may not vote for obama if she were to drop out. that would be a big blow to the psychology of the obama campaign and the democrats in general.
both sides know that they might as well just finish till the end.- IphtashuFitz, on 05/09/2008, -0/+2But if Hillary really believed that then she wouldn't be making the sorts of statements she made. She's just causing more trouble for the entire Democratic party with her "white blue-collar workers" comments, and it's obvious that she chose her words carefully. If she really believed that the race was over she might continue to stay in the race given the points you made, but she'd be choosing her words a lot differently to avoid potentially splitting Democratic voters even further.
- yodaj007, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1"because her voters may not vote for obama if she were to drop out"
So if she stays in, wouldn't her voters still not vote for Obama? I don't understand your reasoning here.- IphtashuFitz, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1It would be somewhat embarrassing to Obama if Clinton dropped out now and then a large number of democrats voting in the remaining primaries wrote in her name or the names of other candidates instead of voting for him.
- DevilInPgh, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1I would have to sorta agree. If it weren't for the obsessive interest in the Democratic primary, people would have seen that at least 20% of Republicans in PA, IN, and NC have gone out of their way to go to the polls and vote against McCain. A good 40% of those are Paul voters, for whom I'm guessing the war is a major issue. McCain should not expect those votes.
- IphtashuFitz, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1It would be somewhat embarrassing to Obama if Clinton dropped out now and then a large number of democrats voting in the remaining primaries wrote in her name or the names of other candidates instead of voting for him.
- playuhh, on 05/09/2008, -1/+9I personally think if she accepts defeat she will indeed *try* to help Barack Obama by rallying her supporters from the primaries to vote for Barack in November. I'm not sayin she will because its the right thing to do... she will to save face because she so badly wants to try again in 2012..
- starmanfalls, on 05/10/2008, -1/+0She will be even uglier and more bitter in four years. And just think what that ***** Bill will look like then. Ha no ***** way!!!. She is toast.
- brjohnson789, on 05/09/2008, -1/+27heh, my wife got a call from the national Democratic whatever asking for money, and she was like "you can't even pick a candidate! why should I give you any money??" and hung up. I love my wife.

- brad3378, on 05/09/2008, -2/+1They couldn't even tell Michigan & Florida in advance that they risked losing their delegates by advancing their primary elections.
Seriously - not even a warning?
Way to be on top of things!
Now you say you want to represent us in Washington? LOL- anachronaut, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1"They couldn't even tell Michigan & Florida in advance that they risked losing their delegates by advancing their primary elections."
That's not even REMOTELY true, and you surely realize that. Florida and Michigan were warned by the DNC as to exactly what the consequences would be if they broke the rules on early primaries. They (Florida and Michigan) then chose to call the DNC's bluff -- only to find out that the DNC was not bluffing.
And it's not like this is the first time they've been warned about this, either. Back in 2004, Terry McAuliffe had to warn Michigan that they would lose half their delegates if they didn't fall into line and drop plans for an early primary. They backed down then, but not this year.
Bottom line: they knew the consequences well ahead of time and chose to move their primaries up anyway. It's really too bad for the Democratic voters in those states that their state party leaders aren't more responsible than that, but that's precisely where the blame lies: with the state Democrats. To suggest otherwise is ludicrous and flies in the face of the facts.
- anachronaut, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1"They couldn't even tell Michigan & Florida in advance that they risked losing their delegates by advancing their primary elections."
- apollo168, on 05/09/2008, -4/+4My thought is that she already blew a lot of time, money, and effort on running and she's not going to win. Let her fight to the very end if she wants, that way there is no delusion about who won. People telling her to get out early have apparently never won a race of any sort before. When you are in the lead and you win, you wait for the other person to finish behind you and you shake their hand. That's sportsmanship. You don't force them to stop. And if you really, really hate Hillary for some reason, sleep easy knowing she's a broke loser.
- okokokok, on 05/09/2008, -3/+1".. she already blew..." Nope, she's never blown anyone..err thing, anything.
- yodaj007, on 05/09/2008, -0/+5There's something to be said for bowing out gracefully. Sticking to the game just to be in the game can be considered rude, depending on the game.
- DevilInPgh, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1The only problem with that thinking is that when Hillary spends money, even borrowed money, Obama has to spend money as well, money that should be spent on the general campaign.
- ericjbolt, on 05/09/2008, -8/+8I am an Obama Supporter. However, I do not believe that the debate between Obama and Clinton is as extreme as the headline reads. Really? The Democratic Party is being destroyed? The headline is too sensational.

- apetrie, on 05/09/2008, -1/+5You're right, it has NOTHING to do with the fact that the W is used to distinguish Bush from his father who otherwise has the same name, and Hussein is obviously a name with heavy baggage that is completely unnecessary to use in order to identify who you are talking about.
Try harder you transparent, pathetic troll.- Julik, on 05/10/2008, -1/+0Yeah because if you say how much Bush sucks on Digg right now people would be confused if you mean George W or his dad...
- yodaj007, on 05/09/2008, -0/+6His full name is "Barack Hussein Obama". 'W' is not considered a Muslim name. Hussein is. silentboom didn't even get his name in the right order. No, this was a plain attempt at anti-muslim trolling.
- Julik, on 05/10/2008, -0/+0Thats exactly the point... If you say Barack Hussein Obama that is wrong.. because his middle name can be associated with Saddam. But the only reason people say it is wrong is because they don't want people associating him with Saddam.

- Julik, on 05/09/2008, -1/+0Not to mention how often Hitlery is typed on here
- FecalHurler, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1If you actually read the article, you would see that it has very little to do with Obama. But I don't have very high hopes for a person who spews that crap out.
- Duositex, on 05/09/2008, -1/+8I just blocked you for being an anti-muslim inflammatory troll.
- KingGoonie, on 05/09/2008, -24/+4You know whats destroying the democractic party? Obama... because if he wins and is the candidate you can say hello to 4 more years of a Republican presidency. Obama will not, repeat WILL NOT beat McCain in general election. Hillary will. Get off that Obama band wagon and realize that!
Nice lead Obama, easy to do so when you don't count Florida, a state NEITHER campaigned in, BOTH were on ballot, and Clinton won by what? 20%? 400,000 people?
HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.- mustafya, on 05/09/2008, -0/+11I'm a republican, my whole family consists of nothing but republicans. Every single one of us would vote Obama in a heartbeat if the general election was today. None of us would vote for Hillary. For us the republican party has forsaken the values we held dear such as fiscal responsibility. We know that Obama is not going to be a panacea for everything we dislike but he is our best chance at getting something that is at least different than the bullcrap going on now.
- sanosuke001, on 05/09/2008, -6/+0Why are people digging you down? I feel Hillary is a horrible candidate and you don't, but is that really a reason to dig someone down? Just because their views are opposite yours?
- Julik, on 05/09/2008, -5/+0On Digg... yes.. no one cares if you bring up a valid point... if you don't think the same way they do they will bury you... why? Probably because they don't want people on the fence to see your view and change their mind.
- apetrie, on 05/09/2008, -1/+3No, idiot, you get dugg down by people who have a different view because that is the way digg works. The thumbs up and down buttons represent "agree" and "disagree". If you don't like, there are many other sites out there where you can comment, or you could always attempt to change the very nature of digg. Good luck with that. I'm guessing you'll just keep crying about how you're oh so oppressed instead though.
- plhearn, on 05/09/2008, -0/+5Hi. You must be new here.
- Alphabet, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3I dug him down because he's using ***** math that he pulled out of his ass and hearsay on why hillary would win.

- wacomwacoff, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3Obama's got a fantastic shot of winning. He's got huge public support and visibility, a bestselling book about his ideas, and makes McCain look like an ancient crook. Once people see Obama & McCain side-by-side, it's a landslide.
- guyincognitoo, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1Obama is still ahead, even if you count FL and MI as is.
- BrainCoder, on 05/09/2008, -1/+9Who cares. Obama will win, etc etc
- manstein01, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1Well, if I was a Democrat, I would be really concerned that she is doing a lot of damage to the party. It's ***** like this that makes Republicans look functional.
- Trails123, on 05/09/2008, -9/+0She (Hitlery) is obsessed and lusting for power!
In her eyes, everything (including the health of the Democratic party) is expendable to achieve her crown!

- farkis, on 05/09/2008, -9/+1Hillary will win. I remember back in NY when she ran for Senate. You can't stop her.
- marko718, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3Are you saying she's like a robot sent back from the future to kill us all?
- cleverhanz, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1Fortunatly, most of America (as fat, lazy, and stupid as we may be) is not as easy to fool as a New Yorker.
- sfgeek, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1Really? Please inform your elementary school that you will be attending again to take remedial basic addition and subtraction. The math is pretty easy to understand, Barack would have to fall off a cliff for her to win.
- farkis, on 05/09/2008, -0/+10bama is young and stupid, he's going to go down in flames, you'll see. My prediction is that there will be some sort of scandal a few weeks before the convention that will knock him out. Just a hunch.

- cleverhanz, on 05/09/2008, -0/+4Really? Is that what I don't understand?
- taradisiac, on 05/09/2008, -1/+0You think Obama cares about America? You think he cares about you? He only cares about himself, his wealth and his legacy.

Zipko
Productive member of the workforce
IQ: 98.5% - ohokay, on 05/09/2008, -1/+6It should be said that, with Hillary staying in the race she is actually helping Barack and the democratic party. This isn't a totally original concept at all, but if Hillary Clinton were to drop out now, a number of her supporters would feel abandoned. They would be angry at her, Barack, and the democratic party. She is supposed to win WV and Kentucky by at least 15 points. She has merit to stay in and at least see it out for the people who want her to win. Embracing the nominee (Obama) will happen soon enough.
I say, let her stay in till June 3rd, and then kick her to the curb. Obama 08!- FecalHurler, on 05/09/2008, -0/+2Fair points. Nice to see an opposite side to the predicament.
- robbiemuffin, on 05/09/2008, -2/+1mmmm, spam!
- NuclearTomorrow, on 05/09/2008, -1/+1This is one of the reasons I don't believe in political parties or affiliation. Due the research, and vote for the best candidate. Period. I see a lot of name-calling, Hillary supporters calling Obama supporters illogical, and vice versa. The only thing logical I see right now is the numbers, and who's winning? What is winning anyway? I'm still waiting for someone give me a logical reason why Hillary will win, or has a chance, everything else aside. This whole thing just gives me a rotten taste in my mouth...
- MikeFallopian, on 05/09/2008, -0/+0Agreed. Party loyalty is pointless and downright harmful when both the parties are equally broken and useless.
- harrypl0tter, on 05/09/2008, -9/+3if hillary goes independent obama is *****...
- mijohnst, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1She's be the new and improved Ross Perot for the Dem's! Hey, every party needs one...
- JoeVet, on 05/09/2008, -2/+1Don't ever say that out loud again. The GOP would fund such an independent run just to sabotage the elections.
- amightywind, on 05/09/2008, -12/+8Keep fighting Hillary. I enjoy the spectacle. McCain/Jindal 2008!
- CryRightardCry, on 05/12/2008, -1/+2Yeah, let's have 4 more years of GOP stupidity and failure!
- taradisiac, on 05/09/2008, -7/+2Howard Dean should just dissolve the DNC and make himself the candidate BYAAAAAAAAW!
- xen0blue, on 05/09/2008, -1/+2GOOD!

- Groovydoo, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1Can we excommunicate her or throw holy water on her or something. One or the other is sure to make her spontaneously combust!
- DevilInPgh, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1No, we can only use the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.
- robertmf, on 05/09/2008, -1/+1http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfidftLe5Z0
- josejimenez, on 05/09/2008, -5/+0Let's see -- Barack Obama is raising record amounts of cash. Hillary Clinton is loaning money to her campaign to keep it alive. And the Obamabots post claims that Hillary is hurting the DCC's fundraising efforts? Obviously, the Obamabots failed at basic math. Barack Obama is the one who is sucking all of the money out of the Democrat's Congressional fund raising.
- laserdog, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1You understand that commercials cost money, right?
How many commercials do you think McCain is running right now?
- laserdog, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1You understand that commercials cost money, right?

- BrianJ5000, on 05/09/2008, -1/+2Shouldn't that be "Hillary is destroying U.S."?
- MikeFallopian, on 05/09/2008, -2/+4A lot you are missing an important point. During the Clinton/Obama race, the democratic party's stock has been consistently rising. McCain's 10-point lead in the polls against both Obama and Clinton has disappeared. The gap between people identifying with the democratic party versus the GOP is bigger than at any time in the last decade. Clinton staying in the race has helped Obama, not hurt him. Think about it: the media has been exclusively focused on the democrats, virtually ignoring McCain. If I were Obama I would privately beg Clinton to stay in the race for as long as possible.
- FecalHurler, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1That's actually a good point. I think the point of the article, though, was that this was hurting the party in areas other than the presidency (in this case, Congressional elections) because people are tired of getting calls from Hillary's campaign and have had enough with donating. In the long run, that can ***** off a lot of people.
- MikeFallopian, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1Sure, but the dem-controlled congress has a miserable approval rating, even lower than Bush's last time I checked. The smart strategy for the DNC is to focus entirely on the white house.
- FecalHurler, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1That's actually a good point. - JointVenture, on 05/09/2008, -3/+4Thanks Obama fans for now saying what the Republicans have been saying for 16 years!
Where were you a year ago?- Dibou, on 05/09/2008, -1/+1They'll figure it out about Obama eventually too.
- DiscoLando, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1Hey, let her destroy it... and while she's in the mood, she can destroy the Republican party as well.
- mkaylor, on 05/09/2008, -4/+1BULLCRAP!!!!!!!!!!! They are in the business of supporting candidates. Plus she has already put in 6 million of her own money. I don't buy it one bit.
Go McCain - MattInChicago, on 05/09/2008, -4/+2Obama fanboys digging up again! I won't vote for this guy just because of these wackos that support him something must be wrong here.
- londubh, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1We don't need your steenking vote. Obama will enslave the white race. You be screwed! Ha. ha.
- sitryd, on 05/09/2008, -0/+2Does anyone else see the stupidity in her claiming that she has a "broader coalition" of support going into the general as proven by the fact that Obama's support amongst hard-working non-college-graduate whites is weakening? that's a pretty specific demographic... any other areas in this "broad coalition" that still support her? no? *crickets*
for a long time i thought poorly of her for pulling such negative campaign tactics in a primary. at this point, i'm starting to think poorly of any superdelegate that doesn't help end this. - BrinkDVD, on 05/09/2008, -0/+0For better or worse, check out http://www.clintonfatigue.us/
- ender7074, on 05/09/2008, -1/+0Goddamn the election process. ***** stupid people expecting to vote. What the ***** is wrong with them. They should just accept who we told them to. We need to eleminate all voting and just let the supers vote. What the hell is wrong with Hillary staying on until the end because she still has a slight chance. Stupid woman expecting us to stick to what we profess is our beliefs.
- fani, on 05/09/2008, -1/+1Finance Dir : "Oh my God , oh my god, Hillary is destroying us... OMG, OMG "
Well, do something about it then, pussy.- DevilInPgh, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1Well, if he's not a superdelegate, I doubt there's something he could do about it.
- Dibou, on 05/09/2008, -1/+1Go Hillary go!!!
- starmanfalls, on 05/10/2008, -0/+0Yes Yes go Hillary go! Go to the mountains, eat some mushrooms, smoke some weed, and build a big camp fire. And jump the ***** right into the middle of it.
WITCH
- starmanfalls, on 05/10/2008, -0/+0Yes Yes go Hillary go! Go to the mountains, eat some mushrooms, smoke some weed, and build a big camp fire. And jump the ***** right into the middle of it.
- devilsanthem, on 05/09/2008, -1/+1All this talk about "Hillary should quit because it's destroying the party" is BS. A year from now, heck, 6 months from now no one is going to care about the primary race. All eyes will be on the two candidates left and there will be some new BS to bitch about. Technically, she is allowed to keep running because Obama does not have 2025 delegates - once the race ends and all the primaries are done with, if she is still behind, I believe Obama should get the nomination but until then, she can keep running.
- vertex, on 05/10/2008, -2/+2Tired of Clinton? Get a clinton fatigue shirt; http://clintonfatigue.us/
