ok, i'm going to be that person making the serious comment about a freakin' cartoon (and a funny one at that). but i have to say that the everything about her little getting off the plane anecdote has pathological liar written all over it. the thing about pathologicals is that they lie about the most mundane *****, stuff they have no reason to lie about, like whether or not the clothes are in the dryer. why would she make up a story about something that was clearly captured on any number of cameras? because it just slipped out, because she's a pathological liar, and that's what they do, they just make ***** up, they don't even think about it, they can't really help it.
This blatant lie ('mis-speaking') has made her into a laughing stock for the dems and right-wingers. Seriously, how can you expect to make all these claims when you know some zealous political journalist will dig up the facts?
The worst thing about the whole damn thing... Hillary cannot admit that she was completely wrong and just apologize for the lie.
She has to create the subterfuge of 'misspeaking' and seriously, how she reacted wasn't Presidential at all. It was shameful to see.
Lying during a job interview (ie. campaigning for the position) pretty much anywhere is grounds for being dismissed pretty much immediately (or even being fired if you manage to get hired)...why is the position of President of the United States any different?
Of course, Obama didn't notice for 20 years that his mentor was reprinting "Kill the Jews!" articles by Hamas in his church newsletter and speaking out against Whitey on a regular basis. Can't say much about that, though...the White Guilt is too powerful. "Can't seem to find the outrage. Slavery weighing heavily on my middle-class morality. Must watch Amistad...The Color Purple...Oprah says Obama is OK..."
Whats ironic about this whole mess, is that few people know what horrors McCain endured in Viet Nam - BECAUSE HE DOESN'T TALK ABOUT IT, or otherwise use it for political gain. This drove me nuts about John Kerry too - did you know he was in the Viet Nam war?
