Buried as spam.- kayaker712, on 02/13/2008, -1/+9Apparently the concept of "freedom" is difficult for you to comprehend there comrade.
- darion, on 02/13/2008, -1/+6I think it is a good time to celebrate freedom. People are trying to fight for their freedom just as they did all those years ago. This is the perfect time to stage such a event. Both represent one another. jcm you seem to think freedom is the loss of ones rights to the government. However when the founders made this country they wanted freedom from the government. You seem to have it backwards.
- keithgplayer, on 02/13/2008, -1/+4With the fourth amendment already gone, the first and second amendment almost ignored, not forgetting the 10 amendment is just a bunch of words that no one understands, the loss of habeas corpus, and I can go on, I'm just curious what freedoms you are celebrating this forth of July? Oh wait I forgot, freedom is slavery. I need to think in double speak from now on.

- KancerKowboy, on 02/13/2008, -0/+15I already have 5 friends ready and they have just heard about it. I know of at least 20 to 30 more that will come if i just send them the email I am about to let loose.
Go Ron- theelectricafro, on 02/13/2008, -0/+4I wish everyone loved freedom as much as you apparently do. Spread the good word Sir.
- kayaker712, on 02/13/2008, -0/+12The 4th of July is the perfect day. What better way to honor the only man in todays political arena that actually understands what the founders meant when they drafted the Declaration and the Constitution.
If we could somehow resurrect the founders they would not recognize the nation they created. Bush would undoubtedly have them in Guantanamo Bay forthwith while O'Reilly called them kooks and pinheads.
DC on the 4th, I'm in. Memorial day might be better because Rolling Thunder will be there. Many RT members support Paul - like me.- bsegovia, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1The fourth is a bad day. Too many people will be in the city there anyway. The Paulers will be lost in that crowd. June 21 is better - birth of the constitution!
- Raiva, on 02/13/2008, -0/+11Yes the freedom to be able to Digg this article up, I mean bury it because you do not agree with it and think your opinions protect the glorious people of this "Free" nation. It is people like you that double think your way into a false reality. You (jcm) are touting freedom and thankfulness while burying someone else's point of view as spam, only because the fact you do not agree with it or dis-like the source rather than debate the content or prove it false. That must be freedom to you.
- sept11insidejob, on 02/14/2008, -0/+6Any date sounds good to me--let's rock with Dr. Ron and shake up the NWO and their mainstream media stooges! Maybe we can sing a freedom lullaby under Raisin Brain's (our Prez) window in D.C.

I think a “Grand March” for Ron Paul in Washington is a great idea… but a rally on the 4th of July is nearly impossible. In Washington you have to have a permit from the Park Service and that day is already taken by a number of other events which will diffuse the impact we are trying to make on DC and for the media. It would be a bad choice since the Paul rally would be dwarfed and smothered by the 4th of July celebrations. Also, all ground transport is gridlocked much of the day, especially around the evening fireworks display. Even if a million Paul supporters showed up, who could tell? Any other days within that time frame, June, July or early August? August 12th is International Youth Day, though that is a limited theme for the rally. Bastille Day is July 14th, that’s about freedom but that’s France. Flag Day is June 14th, that’s a good one but it might be too soon in order to organize a large rally. Another choice, perhaps the best choice, but maybe too soon might be April 19th, the 233rd anniversary of the first battle of the American Revolution, the battle of Lexington/Concord; it is also the day when FDR took America off the gold standard in 1933. The best option might be the summer equinox on June 21, symbolic because it signifies a mid point, the turning point of the year; alas, the turning point for present day Patriots to stand up and defend our nation. It also lands on a Saturday which is probably the best day of the week for a DC rally. Plus it is three weeks into June which give the rally time to organize. If we have the rally on June 21, the equinox, the first day of summer, we can call it The Summer of Change Rally. This theme/message will carry the momentum throughout the whole summer leading up to the elections; as well, it’s an affordable means of hijacking the bogus Change campaign that some other candidates have spent big bucks on in their marketing attempt to steer disenfranchised voters to choose their fake platforms.- freecon, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1You did your research! Thanks. Great job!
- 1776Resister, on 02/14/2008, -0/+2Ron Paul Revolution Grand Rally? How about April 3rd? April 3, American's Creed accepted, 1918
I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon the principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes. I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies. - pressurechanges, on 02/18/2008, -0/+1I'm there anytime but last week of school, which not allowed to take off. Being a poor man and this trip will make me poorer in money but would feel cheated to miss. Ron Paul is a Hero and to not be there would be a crushing blow to spirit. Kids grown, freedom and liberty, to fight for kids and those not yet born is all I live for.
