CARTOON - Hillary Is Really Winning
politicalcartoons.com — It's just that the definition of "win" is getting a bit hard to follow...

- db0255, on 04/27/2008, -5/+436She also has a lot of fouls, turnovers, and a free throw percentage Shaq would laugh at.
- JlmAWP, on 04/27/2008, -1/+66They were only "technical" fouls. As in "they technically don't count."
- 1longtime, on 04/27/2008, -32/+4I kinda gave up on Hillary, but don't forget the fact that Michigan and Florida voters are disenfranchised (where polls showed her in strong leads). It COULD actually be argued that she is winning.
Wow, our political system is so ***** up. We can't even properly count our own votes.- Fordi, on 04/27/2008, -1/+31Was Obama even on the roster in Michigan?
- AndrewDB, on 04/27/2008, -1/+24No, he wasn't.
- pixelate, on 04/27/2008, -0/+13He wasn't on the ballot and, futhermore, Hillary's hypothetical Michigan tally gives him ZERO votes in order to make her 'popular vote lead' theory work.
Of course there are stories about Michigan residents going out in bad weather to cast 'uncommitted' votes simply because they didn't approve of Hillary. Now who is being disenfranchised?
- m0tbaillie, on 04/27/2008, -2/+30You're talking about two states where Obama didn't even campaign. As a resident of Michigan, I guarantee you that with even mild campaigning Michigan would go heavily for Obama given our very large black population in Detroit as well as our Arab-American population in Dearborn.
- yellowfish04, on 04/27/2008, -3/+6I've never heard the term Arab-American before, and that's kinda surprising...I must live in a cave (aka north dakota)
- hammerpants, on 04/27/2008, -1/+27Those states' parties were responsible for disenfranchising their own voters by breaking the rules they agreed to in order to unfairly influence the party process.
- 1longtime, on 04/27/2008, -9/+2I continue to see Diggers defend actions which stripped the right to vote from millions of voters in FL and MI. What in the ***** are you people thinking? Be real... Clinton vs. Obama aside... not allowing two states to vote is ***** UP.
Find a way to penalize the dumbass DNC members in both states, but don't penalize the voters. It's unbelievable that anyone can defend this choice. It's a lose-lose situation: whoever wins will be tainted by the fact that a huge number of voters were DISENFRANCHISED.
PS - obviously the bogus vote would be tossed and both candidates should have an opportunity to campaign prior to a re-vote. Any comments about that are completely missing the point.- circusbred, on 04/27/2008, -0/+5Michigan has had some serious budget problems. There is absolutely no way the state will pay for another election. Furthermore, constitutional issues could arise with a privately funded public election.
- EtherGnat, on 04/28/2008, -0/+1I don't see how it's an election. The Republican and Democratic parties are private organizations trying to determine who they wish to support for President--it's basically a poll.
- jackalsclaw, on 04/27/2008, -0/+1if states keep moving their primary's up then it's going to end up being complete chaos. also it's important to note that a REPUBLICAN government in Florida moved the primary up against the state parties wishes, because they wanted to cause this problem for the DNC.

- casey148, on 04/27/2008, -1/+6Oh yeah? What about the states that STILL haven't voted yet? I live in Oregon, and my (republican) vote is basically useless. Even more so for Democrats if Hillary drops out before our Primary. AND we're not even the last state to vote. AND most primary elections are usually DONE by now. The whole thing is messed up.
All votes are equal, but some votes are more equal than others.
(I don't disagree with what you said, only that there's more crap going on than just the Michigan and Florida thing- jackalsclaw, on 04/27/2008, -0/+3Oregon could have move up to supertuesday but i think they have keep their primary back just in case this happened, the whole system is ***** up with states like new hampshire and ohio always going first, we need to work out a system that lets states take turns at who goes first
maybe divide the country into 5 groups and pick one form each section by lottery for the first round, then have a new round every 4 weeks, in 40 weeks the elections is over and if your vote didn't count then maybe next time it will go first
They could also have them all on one day but that would mean you would need to raise enough money to campaign every where before anyone had a chance to vote for you, limiting candidates to the rich and well connected.

Despite picture being an OK word to use, it is more of an image than a picture because subject characteristics have been embellished and therefore its representational quality has been compromised.

- DiggLive, on 04/27/2008, -51/+4They both can't reach the nomination with pledged delegates alone. It's now a race between superdelegates, and they'll be able to vote at the convention anyway they want. For Obama to truly knock her out of the race, he'll have to win more votes and take away her popular vote argument.
Also, to show that he can win white working class voters. States like Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Michigan. Even California could be up for grabs because Obama's problem with Latino/Jew voters, and it's something superdelegates will look at.- gelato822, on 04/27/2008, -2/+12who are you? the commentator?
- beakerwimp, on 04/27/2008, -2/+29DiggLive: Can't Obama counter "her popular vote argument" with the fact that he is ahead in the popular vote? He's ahead in the popular vote, as well as all other metrics you might use... unless you really get wacky and count all the bizarre extra circumstances that the Clinton campaign tries to inject into the conversation, like counting states that held primaries in violation of the DNC's primary rules... even states where Obama was absent from the ballot?
- DiggLive, on 04/27/2008, -18/+2He took his name off the ballot by himself, he wasn't required to. Also, the states might have been in violation, but the superdelegates can vote anyway they want, which could include those states in their decisions. She has a lead of around 11,500 if you include FL/MI and Obama's estimated caucus votes.
It's still a VERY close race (and delegates don't mean anything at this point, because as I said, neither can get the nomination with pledged delegates. It's a superdelegate decision now and they don't have to vote a certain way just because Digg wants them to)- Fafnir43, on 04/27/2008, -1/+20He took his name off the ballot in protest, /because/ the primary wasn't going to count! If the primary suddenly counts, then you've gone from disenfranchising every Democratic voter in Michigan - which you can argue was the state party's fault - to disenfranchising every non-Clinton voter in Michigan, which is just handing the Republicans the state on a silver platter and horribly corrupt to boot.
While it's true they won't completely decide things, pledged delegates do still mean a great deal. One. More delegates gained means less superdelegates required. The way things are going right now, Hillary would need to capture an overwhelming majority in superdelegates to win.
Two. If the superdelegates override the pledged delegates, then they will massively piss off the Obama voters. It will look like a black man won fair and square, then had his victory taken away through backroom deals. Procedural arguments and moral arguments aside, this is what it will /look like/. And that means a massive number of Obama voters will revolt, severely damaging the Democrats' chances in the general. The superdelegates know this. That gives them a massive incentive to support the candidate with the most pledged delegates. When you further consider that Obama consistently polls far better than Hillary against McCain, I really don't see any way he can fail to get a majority - never mind the small minority he will actually need - of the superdelegate votes. - circusbred, on 04/27/2008, -1/+7Nobody has mentioned that Cliton only got 55.2% in Michigan's primary. Thats pretty pathetic, considering she was the only major candidate on the ballot.
- beakerwimp, on 04/28/2008, -1/+1DiggLive: Seriously though, I would never say that superdelegates should vote a certain way because "Digg wants them to". Let's not get silly. We need to keep cool heads and make decisions in the wisest way possible. I have a lot of respect for where you are headed with your arguments, but I disagree strongly that Clinton should get credit for votes collected in states that she (and the DNC and other candidates) initially agreed would not be counted. How can we say the votes tallied in these areas are a good measure of anything? How do we know certain sectors of potential voters didn't stay home since the vote was invalidated beforehand? How do we know that having actual campaign activity in those states would not have affected the vote? When you start saying these votes should count you start to whittle away the good faith people can have in you, your honesty and your cause. You must not let the extremism of some of your opponents influence you into becoming extreme in your own line of thinking.

funny ***** arent they. - peoplerstoopid, on 04/27/2008, -3/+1Actually mongoloid as American slang is reference to the word idiot. And although it did originate not as racist but defining race (mongol like) its not used in contemporary society as a racial statement, in fact today most east asians wouldn't even get what you meant if used as an insult. Today mongoloid is said more in reference to those with down syndrome which jochchaney3 oviously has.
- JointVenture, on 04/27/2008, -9/+1So its OK to call someone a retard but not a *****?
Nice try *****. - JointVenture, on 04/27/2008, -9/+1I just had to add this having lived in SE ASIA, how about you go call someone living in Shanghai a Mong and see what kind of reaction you get.
You might as well have called them a *****.
Thats why the whitening creams sell so well over there.
Cant wait till people of color get to the Olympics and see the ads on TV where the girl losing the tennis match runs in between sets puts whitening cream on and comes out and wins the match. - peoplerstoopid, on 04/27/2008, -1/+1so how though by YOUR own definition was I using a racist comment? You state right there that it originated as "used to describe someone with Mental Retardation and it morphed into a slang term to in essence call someone a retard" Where is the race implication?
And furthermore it actually really did originate as a description of the east asian mongolians,
In 1865, Thomas Huxley presented the views of polygenecists of which Huxley was not as "some imagine their assumed species of mankind were created where we find them... the Mongolians from the Orangs." n
1972, Carleton Coon claimed, "[f]rom a hyborean [sic] group there evolved, in northern Asia, the ancestral strain of the entire specialized mongoloid family
But you just did all the work for me, first you say I was using a racist word, when I was actually using it in reference to meaning idiot, then you have this post that actually validates what i said, because you say "the word mongoloid is used to describe someone with mental retardation" Now what is your point because you have just stated that I called johnchaney3 and idiot, and by proxy if you now continue your little soap box tirade then you to will be arguing against yourself...suspicious signs of a mongoloid. But if you want more definitions of word origins I'll post them. seriously just ask.
And *****? really?, you sad little man - peoplerstoopid, on 04/27/2008, -2/+1Oh and actually how convient that you edited your comment about the definition of the word in reference to mental disability. And how suprising that you just state you lived there in some effort to bolster your argument, when in actuality more skin darkening creams are sold. Its called ganguro and it is not just Japan, its all SE Asia, and its a huge fad.
- JointVenture, on 04/28/2008, -1/+1Its obvious in a matter of seconds that your world experience is WIKI.
You've obviously NEVER lived in SE Asia ya lo so *****. - peoplerstoopid, on 04/28/2008, -0/+0I never stated or acted like I knew those quotes offhand, I did use WIKI as a quick reference to prove my point, its not like I had the time to go to the library check out a book and read it then highlight some points and after all thats done, post them on the thread mid conversation. Oh and if you could please just point out where I ever alluded to maybe having lived in SE Asia that would be super. See you just state you have, but offer no evidence. Funny though, just like so many people online do, you only mention that you lived there at the end of a conversation as a childish "yeah I never said it before but now believe everything I just said cause here" type of thing.
Oh and uh Shirley, when did I ever say the word *****....do you really have to try and put words into other peoples mouths just so you can feel like you're winning an argument.
And speaking of world experiences, after 5 years in the Marine Corps, I've been to places you'll only pretend to have lived at. (I say this cause I did do a bit of snooping, you have posts in other threads about having lived and grown up in many different areas....funny you'd have to a few hundred years old to have grown up in so many different places....odd too how those claims always seem to be an in your face kind of statement.
And again, *****? Come on man. If you want to feel like you are intimidating someone, thats fine, your self esteem pry needs the boost, but there are so many much more eloqent insults to be had. Try harder next time pinky, someday maybe we'll get you some big boy pants.
- JointVenture, on 04/27/2008, -9/+1So its OK to call someone a retard but not a *****?

- JointVenture, on 04/28/2008, -2/+1This is a really ***** up thread. A bunch of bandwagon anti-racist patting themselves on the back and "logging in" just to say some anonymous dude on a social networking site is racist. Its the flavor of the month, a bunch of middle class white kids playing black panther party.
Do you feel better? Did you do your thing to fight the man today?
What a bunch of miserable *****.
No Im not being racist, Im just not buying into the superficial love a negro fad that you are.

- shyboy2008, on 04/27/2008, -28/+8Its funny how the same people are ragging Clinton on the popular vote comment, are the same people who called for an election based on popular vote after Gore lost to Bush. Hypocrites.
- AlexGrant, on 04/27/2008, -2/+8It's not that funny. People can want an election based on popular vote, and still criticize Hillary for blaming her loss on the voting system, assuming she didn't criticize it before it was obvious she would lose. These issues are really mutually exclusive.
- djlosch, on 04/27/2008, -4/+2no... either you want a popular vote, proportioned electorates, or winner takes all electorates, and since we're not getting rid of the electoral college, you're stuck with proportioned electorates or winner takes all. and digg me down, but the digg populace is full of the same folk who got mad when texas refused to change to proportioned electorates, but accused california republicans of trying to "rig the election" when they wanted to move california to a proportioned electorate.
- einrobstein, on 04/27/2008, -4/+2I'm pretty sure that Obama is winnipeg the popular vote too. Although it's kinda hard to tell.
- AlexGrant, on 04/27/2008, -0/+15Trust me, the city of Winnipeg CANNOT be used as a synonym for winning.
- Terasiel, on 04/27/2008, -0/+2Spell check, huh? Gotta love that.
- Protoss, on 04/27/2008, -0/+3Canada gets to vote in out election? Interesting.
- Beevo, on 04/27/2008, -0/+2He is...unless you count Florida and Michigan which is Clinton's position. She claims they should be counted because well she won there. But Obama didn't campaign there because they were both told before the primaries that they wouldn't count because they had gone against party wishes and held their primaries to early.
- AlexGrant, on 04/27/2008, -0/+15Trust me, the city of Winnipeg CANNOT be used as a synonym for winning.
- dinot, on 04/28/2008, -0/+1Clinton only leads in the popular vote if you count Michigan and Florida. For the sake of argument, I'll give her Florida since both were on the ballot even if neither campaigned there. So, just counting Florida, Obama's lead narrows, but he still leads in the popular vote. Only if you count BOTH Michigan and Florida does Clinton come out with a 500,000 vote lead. But Michigan doesn't count since Hillary's name was the only one on the ballot. And, how democratic is it to have one name on the ballot?
- AlexGrant, on 04/27/2008, -2/+8It's not that funny. People can want an election based on popular vote, and still criticize Hillary for blaming her loss on the voting system, assuming she didn't criticize it before it was obvious she would lose. These issues are really mutually exclusive.
- stranglethorne, on 04/27/2008, -5/+59Hillary, give up.
- rinehart, on 04/27/2008, -9/+14I don't see how the Democrats can win with this bicker mentality still in place. I'm actually quite sick of both of them now.
- mrblogadise, on 04/27/2008, -0/+8well said. Time for Howard dean and the superdelegates to end this clusterfark scrimmage game and get on with the actual season.
- cyberprunes, on 04/28/2008, -0/+1Because no one will remember once the General election is in play. The 24hr news cycle guides the minds of the people. It will have no impact because the general election will be a bloody war. It will be so nasty that no one will care what mudslinging went on back in March or April between Clinton and Obama.

- jabberwolf, on 04/27/2008, -21/+6So lets make sure to ignore Florida and Michigan ... because in the final election... they will be counted ... just not in the primaries.
How the hell does THAT make sense?!
I mean AT LEAST count Florida !- einrobstein, on 04/27/2008, -2/+4Obama didn't campaign in Florida and I don't think he was even on the ballot.
- jonohull, on 04/27/2008, -0/+6He was on it in Florida, but not Michigan.
- RRJackson, on 04/27/2008, -13/+3There was no way he was going to gain much traction in Florida. Too many senior citizens who've seen ***** artists before.
- bot001220, on 04/27/2008, -2/+3That's right. Now do you think those old folks really want us to spend "100 years" in Iraq or do you think he "misspoke"?
- papipablo, on 04/27/2008, -3/+1To old folks there's no difference between 100 years in Iraq and 100 weeks in Iraq. They don't plan on seeing the end of either.
- RRJackson, on 04/27/2008, -3/+3There's my stalker. Right on time. So you get up in the morning and think, "Man, I've got to go see what Rob's written!" You realize that the only time I'm aware of you is when I see a reply you've made to one of my comments, right? I'd never even think of checking to see what you've been up to. Have you considered therapy? I know it sounds trite, but talking this obsession over with someone might help you work through it.
- bot001220, on 04/27/2008, -2/+3That's right. Now do you think those old folks really want us to spend "100 years" in Iraq or do you think he "misspoke"?
- jbenson2, on 04/27/2008, -14/+4He was on the ballot. He was too naive (still is) and thought he could get away without campaigning.
- Fafnir43, on 04/27/2008, -3/+10Actually, all the candidates agreed not to campaign in Michigan or Florida.
- ArtCrazy, on 04/27/2008, -3/+6Both he and Clinton had signed an agreement that none of them would campaign... And Clinton did, how nice.
- Mejari, on 04/27/2008, -3/+12HE WAS ORDERED NOT TO CAMPAIGN BY THE DNC. That's not being naive, that is abiding by the rules of the group in charge of the procedure you are participating in, which is more than anyone can say for the democratic leaders of Florida and Michigan, as well as Hillary herself.
- jbenson2, on 04/27/2008, -9/+3Bottom line... Due to his naive inexperience in Presidential politics, he is paying the price. By staying out of the Florida race, he has handed Hillary a big silver plate. And she is going to take it all the way to the Denver convention. If Barack had a backbone, he would have done the same thing Clinton did and campaigned in Florida. But just like his latest decision to avoid any more tough questions in another debate, he has caused a lot of people to wonder about his abilities.
- acroyear2, on 04/27/2008, -3/+6What you call naive of Barack, we call lame, manipulative, and tiresome of Hillary.
Seriously. It's a joke that Hillary is trying to argue her case by defending that primary considering that Obama didn't even campaign there and she originally agreed to do the same. The only thing it proves is how she'll do anything to win including stretch the truth.- jbenson2, on 04/28/2008, -3/+1Yup, winning is everything.
- acroyear2, on 04/27/2008, -3/+6What you call naive of Barack, we call lame, manipulative, and tiresome of Hillary.
- mrblogadise, on 04/27/2008, -2/+8
jabberwolf, Florida screwed up and broke the rules, now we are paying for that snafu. Blame the Florida Democratic party for being asshats.
Jbenson2, it was against democratic rules to campaign in Florida. Get a clue before you make uninformed posts. - basefx, on 04/27/2008, -2/+5Hilary supporters keep crying about Michigan and Florida, but it really wouldn't be in their best interest to do so. First of all there would definitely have to be a re-vote, seeing as how Obama wasn't even on the MI ballot, nor did he campaign there or FL. And even without campaigning he managed to pull 33% of the vote in FL, and it wasn't a heads up contest, you had Edwards & Kucinich take a 15% chunk of the vote as well. And with the momentum he has now as compared to late Jan, you really think Hilary will still have that so called "lead"?. If only people would do some damn research and stop being so delusional about an election with so much at stake.
- allengeer, on 04/28/2008, -1/+2you know, Obama is so far ahead, I say after the super delegates start coming in, Obama is going to say count florida. And then he's going to say... actually.. you can have your 55% of michigan's delegats as well... and you're still going to lose.
- RRJackson, on 04/28/2008, -1/+1Really? Cause I don't see how either of them can get 2025 delegates, so there's not going to be a winner until the DNC has the supers pick one in Denver.
- Independentsam, on 04/28/2008, -1/+1I definitely have empathy for Florida and Michigan voters. That said, when they decided to move their primaries I thought Wyoming should do so as well. The additional income from just the Republicans had to be immense. I would guess that most Democrats from those states did not oppose the idea as their wallets could have used any additional income after eight years of the current administration. At that time, Hillary was a "shoe in."
The Democrats of Michigan and Florida should not have the opportunity to have their votes counted. That was the understood penalty for early primaries. Their future votes might reflect their feelings about those who convinced them that the change was worth it. - dinot, on 04/28/2008, -1/+1I love this ***** hypocritical mentality of you Clinton supporters. I mean, where was this outrage in January and February? It's not like Florida and Michigan just got disqualified recently. You, and you candidate, knew this from the start, but we didn't hear this bitching about "disenfranchising" the voters before.
Even Hillary agreed that these states wouldn't count right from the very beginning. It wasn't until some uppity negro decided to show up and rain on her ***** parade that her campaign started spewing this Michigan-Florida crap. So STFU.
- einrobstein, on 04/27/2008, -2/+4Obama didn't campaign in Florida and I don't think he was even on the ballot.
- crazyfingers33, on 04/27/2008, -20/+8I think they forgot to draw the plate of fried chicken and watermelon in the corner...
- exomni, on 04/27/2008, -5/+5Not sure why you're being dugg down. I found the comic rather racist as well.
- Fafnir43, on 04/27/2008, -4/+6Yeah - it's clearly attacking Obama, right? *facepalm* Sometimes a basketball game is just a basketball game, people.
- exomni, on 04/27/2008, -2/+1I never said it was attacking Obama.
Saying "you black people are really good at basketball" isn't attacking anyone, in fact, its a compliment. I still find it offensive and racist. - ff4marvel, on 04/27/2008, -0/+3Wait, so it's racist because it's using a sports analogy that's completely applicable? What part of it is offensive? It's not in any way playing off the fact that Obama is black; the joke resides in the analogy, regardless of the race of the two candidates. In fact, if Obama was white (or if it were Edwards in the same situation for that matter) it would still be funny and accurate.
- exomni, on 04/27/2008, -2/+1I never said it was attacking Obama.
- p0tent1al, on 04/27/2008, -1/+5Damn people give it the rest. I am black and I find absolutely nothing in this comic offensive. People look for any reason to call racism, utterly ridiculous.
- Fafnir43, on 04/27/2008, -4/+6Yeah - it's clearly attacking Obama, right? *facepalm* Sometimes a basketball game is just a basketball game, people.
- acroyear2, on 04/27/2008, -0/+4Come on. Obama plays basketball. He ***** plays B-ball and enjoys it. It doesn't have to be racist.
- exomni, on 04/27/2008, -5/+5Not sure why you're being dugg down. I found the comic rather racist as well.

- yellowfish04, on 04/27/2008, -1/+17The thing is, Obama has more delegates, and he'll have more delegates come June, and that will make him the winner. Why? Because that's the system the Democrats have used for decades, and everyone knew the rules of the game before it started. Is it completely fair? No. Should we just choose by popular vote? Maybe. But this is the same ***** that happened in 2000, and yeah, it sucks, Al Gore got more votes, but we have to go by the system in place. All I'm really trying to say is, Hillary, please shut the ***** up kthx gnight..
- krazikamikaze, on 04/27/2008, -0/+3The thing is, if it was the popular vote that mattered from the start, Obama would have an unsurmountable lead in popular vote as opposed to the small lead he now has. He purposefully spent little time in large states like California and New York because he knew he was going to lose them, but not by enough that Hillary would get a lot of delegates. Hillary was outplayed and now she wants to pretend she was playing by a different set of rules.
- JointVenture, on 04/27/2008, -9/+3Obama is probably ***** bricks watching Al Sharpton threatening to shut down NYC.
That's just what he needs wright now.- SpeedSteamBoat, on 04/27/2008, -0/+6Meh, you seem to be the only person really worried about it.

Barack Obama != Al Sharpton. Contrary to your beliefs, all black people are not the same. Jesus ***** christ you are dumb.- JointVenture, on 04/28/2008, -0/+1Where did I say that Al Sharpton = Obama?
I said that a bunch of black people shutting down NYC being led by Al Sharpton would be a disaster for Obama.
I'm right, and if you cant see that you're more lost in your Obama worship than I had feared.
Your comment is pretty ***** up, "all black people the same?" where the ***** did that come from. How old are you?

- CarStan, on 04/27/2008, -10/+21I get it,Obama will win because he's black

- eagles2k3, on 04/27/2008, -9/+7Like bitches can play basketball anyway. Will someone please just run Hillary over or something.
- flamesrule, on 04/27/2008, -8/+1I can't wait for the cartoon of Obama actually believing he can win the white vote, the older vote, the blue collar vote and the educated vote.
- fanboydcs, on 04/27/2008, -0/+8He does win the educated vote, and the white vote within areas like Phily. Also that means Hillary is losing the black vote, educated vote and young vote. Which I would think is much worse...
- Gyre23, on 04/27/2008, -0/+3White people can't wait to vote for Obama.
Angry black guy: "This country still has an appalling difference in the opportunities that are available..."
Some white guy: "Black president."
Angry black guy: "... *****"
- pumacub, on 04/27/2008, -2/+6I don't know what's more funny, the cartoon or the ridiculous licensing below it.
- scotishstriker, on 04/27/2008, -0/+4mmm 3 bucks to use this as my wallpaper
- MatthewJ3030, on 04/27/2008, -4/+5Man I'm thoroughly sick of Hilary. She's so desperate and lowly. It's embarrassing to watch this happen to her. I don't see her as a genuine person at all. And definitely not the person i want to represent me in the US. If she's willing to constantly bash Obama now what happens when the phone rings at 3am? Is she going to bash whoever is on the other end if she disagrees?
- Hetman, on 04/27/2008, -3/+5I liked it it was funny. But it would be more accurate if there was a referee in the background with the word superdelegate on it. And he was getting ready to call a technical foul on Obama and throw the game to the Clintons.
- Punchcardz, on 04/27/2008, -1/+2And now we're in the last minute of the game and Hillary's only hope is to keep fouling repeatedly.
- timewarp424, on 04/27/2008, -18/+5Dear Kevin Rose,
I completely understand that you have given us the power to hide all political stories in our preferences. However, I really like politics, I just don't like a constant barrage of Obama over Hillary stories or Obama over anyone stories. It may or may not be the case that he's doing well, but more than anything, I believe that most of the pieces of writing that make it to the front page are biased and don't accurately represent the true story. If you could help me by adding some sort of filter that only allows accurate and unbiased pieces to show up on the front page, that would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
Timewarp424
P.S. Diggers the dig down for not wanting accurate and unbaised stories is over here ------------------------------------------------------->- TexasShiv, on 04/27/2008, -9/+3Thank you for that. I am so sick of seeing "The Second Coming of Jesus: Barack Obama" on the Digg front page. I just read a news article that quoted Howard Dean as saying that are in a dead tie with each other, and no one can call the race. Don't you stupid ***** people think that if Hillary was mathematically eliminate, or hell, not even that, was COMPLETELY incapable of winning this, she would drop the race? She isn't Ron Paul, she's not just staying in this race so she can get her name out and message to the people. She still has a VERY real possibility of receiving the nomination.
- Ajajadude, on 04/27/2008, -1/+6Obviously you have no clue as to what you are talking about. Mathematically, she CANNOT catch up to Obama in what matters with the Democratic party: state delegates. With each passing month she loses more and more support to Obama. Last summer, the thought of Obama even making Hillary sweat a bit was a giant joke. Hell, even I was a Hillary supporter...that is until I started to hear Obama speak and saw how she reacted to diversity. The only thing she is guaranteeing by staying in this race is a divided party and a win for McCain.
- motivatedmama, on 04/27/2008, -0/+1Dean said "close tie" and he's playing nice. Your comment is a response to someone calling for LESS bias. The irony is astounding and your language negates any logical point you so futilely hoped to present.
In response to @Timewarp: It's called a bury button. When enough people actually agree with you, your goal will be achieved.
- acroyear2, on 04/27/2008, -0/+6If you want real political discussion, you go to NEWSVINE, not Digg.
Digg is mostly Obama supporters. Most people on the internet are. You'll find your Hillary supporters playing cribbage or something. You'll just have to accept that. - allengeer, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3You know, Digg is not based on catering to special interests... It is a mobocratic style of media. That means the majority of the entities control the power of what does and what does not get to the front page. So.... If you don't like it you should more than likely take your viewership elsewhere.
- TexasShiv, on 04/27/2008, -9/+3Thank you for that. I am so sick of seeing "The Second Coming of Jesus: Barack Obama" on the Digg front page. - AndrewDB, on 04/27/2008, -2/+27I voted yesterday for Indiana's May Sixth Primary..
It was the first time I've ever voted in a primary, and I'm damn happy I voted Obama.- TexasShiv, on 04/27/2008, -10/+2Do you want a cookie?
- acroyear2, on 04/27/2008, -4/+1It's a lie.
- SilentRamble42, on 04/27/2008, -0/+1The cake being a cookie is a lie.

- thedingman, on 04/27/2008, -0/+1Obama getting elected would mark the first time I would actually be proud to be an American... if that doesn't happen, I'll just look forward to the day I move to Canada.
- SilentRamble42, on 04/27/2008, -0/+3Being from Indianapolis, I'm happy you did too. One less person to blame in case Hillary gets us.
- shanson13, on 04/27/2008, -7/+1The terrorist regimes around the world thank you for your vote...they are hoping Obama wins too...
- Rodalli, on 04/28/2008, -0/+3I hate when people say ***** like this. Ignoring how absurd your implication is, how would you even have this information? Are YOU in cahoots with the terrorists? Did they call you this week, while they were in the tub taking a bubble bath, to play and let you know who they're hoping will win the U.S. election? What a ***** tool.
- TexasShiv, on 04/27/2008, -10/+2Do you want a cookie?
- dxgg, on 04/27/2008, -2/+8I was just talking to my girlfriend about a similar analogy last week. Hillary's talking about winning ONLY because she's counting votes in places where Obama didn't play the game because he was abiding by the rules they both agreed to.
