- AWBoy666, on 10/04/2008, -2/+31Just terrifying.....I can't imagine how his administration would abuse its power to silence critics.
- irisheyes1169, on 10/04/2008, -0/+8I pray that we never have to find out...
- linuxdad, on 10/04/2008, -2/+29I am sorry sir, you can not say anything against the liberal, socialist, marxist, inexperienced, arab-american democratic presidential candidate. It's just not fair!
- KJeffV, on 10/04/2008, -0/+16You forgot: *SNIFFLE!*
- AwthrAwthr, on 10/04/2008, -2/+16The first thing Obama and his Democrat Congress will do is to reinstate the unFairness Doctrine" which will end talk radio.
The next thing he'll do is engage Iran in talks. Then we'll die from the Iran's EMP nukes, so it won't matter whether we have talk radio or not.
The best to you.

Together we can cure cancer - one person at a time! - tjordanchat, on 10/04/2008, -13/+1It's not free speech which they want to close down, it's the center fold spread of Sarah Palin which they want to prevent from going to press. Read the article stupid.
- txchica, on 10/05/2008, -0/+2What the hell are you talking about? Maybe you need to reread the article.
- EZLA, on 10/05/2008, -0/+2I thought I was loosing it for a minute there, till I dug your post out, I don't think half of these people actually read the article or can read.

- Stevanoski, on 10/04/2008, -2/+19"Meanwhile, the same people who forever decry the country's imminent descent into the dark night of fascism are now comfortable regulating political speech and banning speech on college campuses. The left has learned to like some chill with its free speech. "
We see this in action here on digg. We have been through this before. Remember when the Clinton's decided welfare folk should live in suburbia and started moving them into middle class 'hoods? In my berg a man wrote a letter to the editor condemning this practice. The Fed's descended upon him and from that moment on the local paper would take no more letters to the editor questioning this practice. - bennny, on 10/04/2008, -2/+18FTA: Enter the Obama campaign, which reflects the new ethos. It twice issued "Obama Action Wire" alerts for activists to call a Chicago radio station and try to shut down appearances by two Obama critics, writers Stanley Kurtz and David Freddoso. No "chilling effect" here. CNN and the Chicago Tribune reported on the effort to silence Obama's detractors, but mostly by way of noting the Obama camp's tech-savvy mustering of its supporters.
When an outside group ran TV ads pointing out links between Obama and the former Weatherman terrorist Bill Ayers, the Obama campaign asked the Bush Justice Department - yes, that Bush Justice Department, the fount of all evil - to open a criminal investigation.
The Obama campaign's effort dovetails with the work of an outfit called Accountable America, run by a former MoveOn.org operative. It is devoted to threatening conservative donors with legal action and exposure of any embarrassing details of their private lives if they give money to groups running ads against Obama. - IronDioPriest, on 10/04/2008, -1/+10People who will engage in suppression of thought, ideas, and speech in order to gain or hold power, or to maintain ideology, will eventually justify anything for those same goals.
This kind of thinking is what brings atrocities upon humanity.
I think that Barack Obama may be the most dangerous man alive, because he embodies this proclivity of the Left into such an attractive package that people are willing to suspend all disbelief just to see him triumph.- kemojr, on 10/05/2008, -0/+2Well said!
- jperson, on 10/05/2008, -0/+2Don't forget suppression of other religions.
- kemojr, on 10/05/2008, -1/+4The worst type of tyrants start with suppression of free speech.
- Cosmo96, on 10/05/2008, -1/+3There will be change if Obama is elected, as a nation we will move towards a national socialist style of government where the Obama cult of personality will be our big brother.
