Crash predictions and a bullish fourth-quarter stock outlook

One user argues that following crash predictions will cost investors money most of the time. Another predicts a fourth-quarter rally after reviewing their watchlist, but worries the bullish setup looks too obvious.

TLDR

One user predicts an eventual major S&P 500 crash and a “lost decade,” but argues that people will lose money listening to crash callers most of the time. Another predicts a “50-100%+ rally” in the fourth quarter of 2026 after reviewing their watchlist, while questioning whether the seemingly obvious setup points to the year’s best quarter or a sharp reversal.

@cantonmeow$SPX S&P 500 At some point in the future, there will be a major crash. At some point in the future, there will be a lost decade. But people will lose money listening to crash callers most of the time.
@StockOptionColeMy goodness. I'm going over my entire watchlist. We're about to see 50-100%+ rally in Q4. It's so obvious too but that's also not a good thing The phrase "what is too obvious in the stock market is foolish" is a classic trading maxim often attributed to legendary investor Jesse Livermore. Are we setting up for the best quarter of the year or a massive rug pull? 😆
