Samsung's Q3 operating profit expected to jump nearly ninefold, but chip margins may be flat

Reuters reports Samsung Electronics is expected to post a nearly ninefold jump in third-quarter operating profit, driven by robust AI demand. Chip margins may be flat, however, and analysts have cut forecasts nearly 8% since the end of August.
