Marvel Unlimited to shut down December 7 as a Webtoon-powered app takes its place

The Los Angeles Times reports that Marvel announced a Webtoon-built Marvel Comics app with more than 35,000 titles, set to launch November 16. Marvel Unlimited will shut down December 7 after 19 years. Subscriptions and payment information won’t transfer automatically, though members will be able to import their libraries and reading history. Marvel says subscribers whose paid plans are cut short can expect prorated refunds around November 16.
