Fire reportedly contained near Ras Tanura oil terminal; Houthis claim refinery attack

Bloomberg reported that Saudi Arabia contained a fire near its Ras Tanura oil export terminal on Oct. 27, citing a person with knowledge of the matter. Reuters reported that Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree claimed a ballistic missile attack caused a fire at the Ras Tanura refinery. Reuters said Saudi authorities had not confirmed the attack. The reporting does not establish that the claimed strike caused Bloomberg’s reported fire.
