Elevance Health reportedly raises 2026 earnings outlook

Barron's reports Elevance Health beat third-quarter earnings estimates and raised its full-year outlook. The Wall Street Journal reports a new 2026 forecast of at least $22 a share, up from $20.10, and adjusted earnings per share of at least $29, up from at least $27. A separate Journal post says quarterly net income rose from a year earlier. Barron's notes investors are watching costs in Elevance's Medicare Advantage and Medicaid portfolios.
