Bhilai Steel Plant calls reports of a proposed sale 'false and misleading'

The Economic Times, in a PTI report, says Bhilai Steel Plant, a state-run SAIL unit, called reports of a proposed sale “false and misleading.” The plant said the Ministry of Steel and PIB Fact Check had also refuted the claims. Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel had alleged Adani was likely to visit the plant; a local Congress leader said the reports had raised concerns about jobs and the plant’s future.
