India’s Venezuelan oil imports could hit a nearly seven-year high in October 2026
Bloomberg, via The Economic Times, says Kpler projects about 465,000 barrels daily in October if scheduled cargoes arrive.
TLDR
The Economic Times published Bloomberg’s report that, according to Kpler, India’s Venezuelan crude deliveries could more than double from September’s 196,000 barrels a day to about 465,000 in October 2026 if scheduled cargoes arrive on time—the highest since December 2019. The cargoes list Sikka, the port used by Reliance’s Jamnagar refinery, as their destination. Kpler’s Sumit Ritolia expects closer to 350,000 barrels a day because some vessels may not unload by month-end.
