Villa Vie halts world cruise in Cambodia, citing ‘extraordinary’ fuel costs

Bloomberg reports Villa Vie Residences suspended operations of its 650-passenger Odyssey in Cambodia, citing ‘extraordinary’ fuel costs. In Bloomberg reporting carried by The Straits Times, the company says its fuel costs rose over 300% since the US-Israel war on Iran began. Founder Mikael Petterson said Villa Vie is covering lodging and transportation but has not funded passengers’ departure from Cambodia.
